With a MITB PPV announced for June, and the big 4 the only cross brand PPVs, that probably means it is going to be brand exclusive. Which brand do you think will have it and will the other brand have a MITB match at a different PPV?

The rumor is SmackDown is getting Money in the Bank in mid-June. With RAW getting an event in early-June, as well as early-July.

MITB was cross branded from 2010-2013 so it wouldn't surprise me if it will be this year too. However if I had to choose I'd say give it to SmackDown.

I would have MITB as the Smackdown show, and make King of the Ring the Raw show.
The winner of the KOTR gets the WWE Universal Title shot at SummerSlam, and then for Smackdown the MITB winner can cash in whenever they want.

theoutlaw1999 but with the exception of 2005 (when MITB was RAW only at WM21) every year after that has given both brands the opportunity to become MITB winner. Whether the match be interpromotional at WestleMania (2006-2010), or having RAW & SmackDown briefcases (2010-2013) I really can't see them having the stipulation exclusive to one brand, especially when the match(es)/PPV is one of the most exciting of the year. Just my opinion though.

I don't get why it can't be at wrestlemania? A multi man ladder match has happened the past two years so why not bring back the mitb?

Money in the Bank was one of the real big 4 before the PPV business died. It'll be one of the big 5 now.

I'm guessing they'll cross-brand it. I can't imagine them giving that stipulation to just one brand, unless they rotate it yearly.

I've read it was going to be a Smackdown PPV but in all honesty it should be cross-branded.

I think it will be like it used to be how each brand will share the ppv and each brand will have thier own ladder match the same night.

Baron Corbin is winning that case. Also for the draft, host the Slammy's exclusively on a Saturday night and the Draft on a Sunday night, both being Network Specials.

Why do they call it 'Money In The Bank' as well? I don't understand why it isn't just a briefcase match

I'd have Raw have their own version on an episode of Raw, been a long time since there's been a ladder match on Raw

If it is across both brands, I hope they only have one MITB match.
Two in one night really delegitimises a special match.
