Brian Maxwell Mann, who was part of the WWE creative team several years ago, wrote the following tweets about WWE's current direction heading into WrestleMania:
When asked if AJ Styles would be facing Shane McMahon, here was Mann's response:
Here was Mann's response about Goldberg vs. Brock Lesnar possibly being for the Universal Title:

...I'm holding onto the hope that they don't do Styles/Shane

If they go with Cena/Nikki v. Miz/Maryse, I may be finished with WWE for a long while.

This is horrid. I'm hoping it's false. If not, whats the rules about throwing trash in the ring?

lol at the idea of hogan/vince being for the title...it would seem that when wwe bought wcw they inherited the insanity of that company.
shane/aj isn't what i'd like to see them do with aj but the guy can put quality on with anyone. he made me care about dlo brown again in tna lol. the match would obviously have a stipulation. i feel like the crowd would end up on aj's side too.
kind of scares me what he's saying about cena though..

Brock vs Goldberg for the Universal Championship is way better anything involving Kevin Owens.

Oh... so you mean all of the things we have heard about Vince and the creative process, for the better part of the last decade, are true? Get outta here?
It's Vince's sandbox.
(Also, is this guy a "former" creative team member because he doesn't know how to use then/than correctly?)
I guess in retrospect, the idea of Cena/Nikki in a match together makes sense since her relationship with John has been mentioned ad nauseam on Smackdown.

Brock vs Goldberg for the Universal Championship is way better anything involving Kevin Owens. Yes because Goldberg and Lesnar are the best options post WrestleMania. Seriously though if Goldberg wins what feud will happen after Mania? If Lesnar wins then he is gone for 3 months and Raw has no champion....again.

But after it there are still tons of options. What they are is not my problem. That's for wwe to figure out.

This is why they have been in neutral for the last decade, they rely on their old/part time stars for short term financial gain, while stunting the growth of their young stars that will keep them afloat for the next 10 years. It's frustrating. I get Goldberg is a big name but ffs, if he and Lesnar fight for the title, there is nobody left to challenge them but Reigns......and we know how that one is gonna end.

Could you imagine if McMahon never lost Hogan, Savage, etc. to WCW... we probably never would've gotten Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels, Steve Austin, The Rock, etc.

Obvious troll post is obvious. Because I can't not like Owens... He's definitely far better for the future of the company than Goldberg or Brock Lesnar.

I guess they can have something similar to when they decided the new Universal champion. They can take Zayn, Reigns, Rollins, Strowman, or some other guys assuming they are on Raw still and have them beat Goldberg at Payback or whatever the post Wrestlemania PPV is.

Brock vs Goldberg for the Universal Championship is way better anything involving Kevin Owens. Goldberg has wrestled a total of 5 minutes (literally) over the last decade plus. Let us not ignore the fact that Brock and Goldberg, arguably with Goldberg still in his "prime," had an absolutely horrendous match already at WrestleMania. Mix that with the fact that we 1000% know Brock is winning, probably in under 5 minutes, and I don't know what would make you think that is a good idea for a title match, your blind spite for Kevin Owens aside.

Since when did "RAW will have no Champion" become an actual complaint. You're not supposed to see the champion every week. Once a month works easily. He's a high profile guy at that point and has no reason to show up every week. Let the lower individuals fight for the right to face him then have him show up weekly to build against his opponent.
I say a couple PPVS without the world championship on the line would do the company and title some good. Shine some light on the US or IC title for once and make it more rare to see the World Title. Just my.opinion though of course.
That being said I don't want to see Lesnar or Oldberg with the title.

I would never go with Brock and Goldberg at Mania for the title, but if they do it it's fine. But I can't stand this horrible Universal Championship reign that's been going on. The only match that I believe has been of note in his reign so far was at the Rumble. Something has to end it and if it has to be Brock vs. Goldberg then so be it.
