Overall a pretty cool figure, torso, shoulders, and hips could have better range of motion, but it's worth it. I took a bunch of pics, I even made a stand-in RA version while waiting for him to ship.

popydugganWas a bit iffy on the faces paint apps when I saw a couple pictures from someone else but after seeing your pics it's gotten me pretty excited. I need this now. How would you saw your paint apps came out?

How would you saw your paint apps came out? I think they're really well done, they might look a little dodgy because they're more distinctive than the usual broad strokes, but they're appropriate for his face(I'm sure somebody could repaint it and make it look uncanny). The break in the sideburns was on both figures I bought so I guess that's part of the design. the vest has the usual kind of paint bleed you can expect from a mass produced toy.

Received mine a couple days ago, and I gotta say it's better than I expected. The beard/shaved part of his hair is darker than the grey in the initial proto's, so I'm definitely pleased. He does seem a little tall/large, but it's not a major problem. Definitely one of my favorite figures at this point.

I just get a kick out of how everyone was hating on this figure and now it's sold it. Looks like many of us had a change of opinion huh? lol that's why I never comment on a figures appearance until I see the final product.

Mine arrived from Ringside yesterday. I'm so happy, this is literally a dream figure come true. Mattel knocked this one out of the park and I have to give props to Ringside, too. Ahead of schedule arrival and flawless service. I've never ordered a DM through the mail so it was a surprise to see RSC went the extra mile and purchased sturdy shipping boxes the EXACT size of a DM package. Just awesome.

Love seeing everyone passing on Nakamura and Styles and now bitching that they're hard to come by. Haha

IMO I think Mattel should make Defining Moments a modern line and make flashbacks DMs a part of the Hall of Fame line, because Mattel could've easily got another $5 out of us for Styles' and Balor's debut figures, plus the speculative Piper, Dude, Shawn, and Savage DMs all meet that HOF requirement.
Shinsuke hasn't even hit at regular retail yet though, so I guess it isn't over yet, though I've never seen a DM sell out like that before.

So, based on past defining moment releases would I be correct to assume we'll be seeing this at retail sooner rather than later?
