Well you're not supposed to be dropped on your head taking a body slam. A piledriver intentionally drives a person's head into the mat/floor. What happened to Bruno was a botch. A pile-driver taken properly shouldn't make contact between your head and the mat. Every time that's happened, it's also been a botch. Valid point. Yet there's still way greater risk of the botch happening with a piledriver vs a body slam.

I understand why the ban moves but the Curb Stomp needs to come back. Piledrivers can be left out, honestly it's not like I am begging for someone to hit one.

They should be used only on special occasions, as a universal super finisher.
I think introducing a kayfabe banned move list would be genius. Make a list of moves that are banned, and if they are used then the offender is fined a serious amount of money. For example, Seth Rollins doesn't use the Curb Stomp because of the heavy fine every time he uses it, but he is known a championship match and can't seem to put his opponent away, so he pulls it out. He gets fined, but it's worth it because he wins the championship.

At the WWE cash is king much like any business. But what Vince McMachon has no right to do is tell talent not to give each other piledriver. Umm . . . considering it's Vince's company, Vince has EVERY FREAKIN' RIGHT to tell his performers not to drop other performers on their heads. Let's bring back unprotected chair shots to the head while we're at it. And take away those p*ssy mats away from the ringside area. Bill Watts hates that stuff. People should be hitting the CONCRETE BY GAWD floor as often as possible. Or, you could just watch your old ECW, FMW, or CZW tapes, or whatever ultra-violent sh*t tickles your pickle. There's no shortage of balcony diving piledrivers through tables onto razor wire-covered light bulbs into molten lava. Or something.

I miss them and feel that with proven wrestlers they should allow them to use a piledriver rarely.

You tell your boss he can't force you to Super Size the fries and see what kind of response you get. He's the BOSS, so um... yeah... he can.

The lack of piledrivers makes the Tombstone a lot more special.
Jakes DDT used to be feared. Now the DDT is used in every match and doesn't get past a two count.

That is todays wrestling. There was a time that top rope moves were done by a few guys.(Snuka, Dynamite Kid & Savage) And suicide dives were pretty much only done at PPV's to make the matches special. Now every wrestler and their mother does the a suicide dive or two in every match.

A Piledriver in this day and age should be cherished and held with the upmost respect, however considering that having a neck injury in the WWE could mean early retirement and that most of the roster are needed to perform at top shape. So if the ban was lifted on the Piledriver, it should be used rarely if at all. The WWE made a great decision on banning the Piledriver considering that big stars as of late have been shown to injure quite often. If you want to see a Piledriver, maybe go to an independent show or watch another promotion, cause no signs point to a Piledriver ban lift.

Besides if one person gets to use a piledriver, the move will probably be overused and the epicness that is a 2017 piledriver will deteriorate and it will reach superkick levels of redundancy.
