Wrong WWE in a nutshell is being stacked with talent, but relining on old established talent to shell shows. which is hilarious because it's what the bashed WCW for.

it's the same as the chair shot to the head...a return to the 50s-80s perspective where it is extremely rare to happen but when it DOES it's a bigtime deal.

WWE having anyone/everyone use piledrivers would stop 0 complaints online, and it'd potentially cripple wrestlers. So there's no benefit to it.

There are more dangerous moves IMHO but the piledriver being banned is far from being Vince's biggest issue. Wouldn't crack my top 100.

Its very simple and its because of injury. In CZW if you're dropped on your head you can sue CZW for everything they have....which is the equivalent of a 10 piece nugget, bucket of thumb tacks, an old ladder and some previously experienced gum. Whereas if you're injured in the WWE you can sue for Millions of dollars. CZW uses the Flyers Skate Zone for most of their events in Voorhees, NJ. I play roller hockey there every friday night and the ring and all their equipment is just chilling in the corner. pretty cool to see it unassembled up close. Yes I know this offers nothing to the topic or what you said just thought I'd share  |

look at Samoa Joe's brain buster how many times has he done the move? Hundreds of times and one freak accident ended Tyson Kidds career, and nearly his life. Yet it wasn't banned.
The piledriver broke Austins neck but he recovered and went on to lead an new era in wrestling. Doesn't make sense the muscle buster seems more dangerous while the piledriver is banned
Accidents happen, now they have the performance centre they can teach people how to do these moves as safe as possible.

There a lot of reasons not to take Kevin Owens seriously right now. Not using the piledriver is not one of them. And we have a winning response... There's no reason for anyone to be using the piledriver anymore. Even if guys can perform it safely its not worth the risk versus the 5 second shock value reaction it would get from the audience. Nowadays we have so much more medical information on concussions and neck injuries, that there's no reason why anybody should be getting dropped on their head. |

Yes, Vince has no right in his own company to tell a guy he's invested a ton of money into that he can't drop another guy he's invested a ton of money into on his head. And Kevin Owens holding the top title on his brand and being featured in the main event scene is a horrible deal for him.
Also, just as a side note, when you start a sentence with "Haha" and when it's not in response to something that was said you come off as a bit crazy.

We know about the major accidents and injuries from moves but we will never know the minor and persistent aches the wrestlers feel. Over the years most of the top guys complained of neck and upper back pain. If cutting out a few moves (which were so overused they had little shock value or excitement) can improve the health of the talent then so be it.
Maybe it will give the talent time to realize the company has no idea how to build a story line, book talent, create or maintain stars and build an audience.
