Yep. When I was a kid, a friend of mine had a boatload of them. We used to tape them to his skateboard & launch them down the steepest street in the neighborhood. Most of the time, they'd end up in the small creek. We lost a few Planet of the Apes down the storm drain, though. Good times. Check this out for a good read: www.plaidstallions.com/links.html

The Mego/LJN lines were what I grew up on. The greatest toy lines ever. Mego Superheroes, Star Trek, PotA, Action Jackson, Teen Titans, Robin Hood, Davey Crockett, Wyatt Earp, Starsky and Hutch as well as LJN's SWAT, Rookies, Emergency all worked within my world. As far as the superheroes go Mego Spider-Man and Robin were always the heroes who would get caught causing Batman to rescue them.
Many a time I have said I wish I had kept all those figures instead of giving them all to my cousin's. All I kept was Batman (removable cowl), Batman, Robin, Green Arrow, Superman, Aquaman, Kirk, Spock and the SWAT team.

My brother had Spiderman. He always used to steal the power vest from my Super Joe Commander figure. It did make him look bad-ass, though!

I loved these when I was a kid. I believe I still have Kirk and Spock. I bought a few loose Planet of the Apes figures off EBay like 10 years ago. I've been meaning to pick up the new Batman 66 figures, but I just don't have enough money to collect another line.

Ugh yes. Me and my brother had quite a few. One day I decided that Thor needed a hair cut. Wish I still had all of them.

I have all the KISS megos...love them My father wouldn't let me get the KISS dolls...So I make my own. Megos were probably my first customs. (Putting various heads on other Star Trek bodies to make other crew members) lol For KISS I remember I used a pen to put "makeup" on my extra Megos. Paul Stanley was a Captain Kirk with a star over his eye. Gene Simmons was a Mr Spock with his eye paint drawn on. Ace Freely was a Conan with double stared eyes. I forget who I used for Peter Criss.

Bahaha! My friend used to put a red balloon over his Rookie's head & add Spiderman's design to it. We'd call him Sgt. Spiderman. We were such dorks!

I loved my Mego Spider-Man figure as a kid. I remember when I was little heading to my local Kiddie City to pick up all my Mego superhero figures. I loved the way they did the comic book style cardbacks with the little balloons feauturing the characters faces on them.
