You are maybe right about cena mutant. The problem is that mattel told us that the reason why the gooker will not be release is because it will cost too much to create bizarre parts for the fig, but now they are doing bizarre useless parts for mutant or zombie fig. Im sure than 50 % of the members who said that they will never buy the turkey, will buy it in a minute, if the figure is limited edition, exclusive and rare. 50 % didnt want larry zbysko fig, but now since the fig is rare , everybody try to put a hand on it. Thanks i already boughtt zbysko, because i was so happy about this release. Have fun with your mutans and zombies, me i am a proud owner of the living legend ! Comparing Larry Zbysko to a giant turkey costume is an insult to Zbysko. And I am 100% in the 50% that would still pass on the Gobbly Gooker. I felt insulted back in '88 when that was the big payoff at the end of the countdown. As a matter of fact the '88 Survivor Series was when I switch to NWA/WCW for my weekly wrestling. I did still watch the Big Four PPV's (Royal Rumble, WrestleMania, SummerSlam and the Survivors Series) until my father passed in March of '90. And once that happened other than the annual WrestleMania PPV I didn't watch any other WWE PPV's until the WWE '00 Royal Rumble. Any other WWE I watched prior to WCW closing was basically commercial breaks or if I saw Bret or Triple H on when I flipped the channels. at the time, I was pissed it was Goobley gooker. but he's nostalgia for me now as I LOVED that event and all the WWF ppvs from 1986 on. that said, Zbysko def deserves a fig more, but I personally dont care to have one, but would buy a Gooker fig if made!

Seriously I would likely just collect the paycheck and keep everything as it is. It seems like a cool job.
If I didn't do that, since I literally don't give a crap about anyone but myself I would lie to the designers and commission one series of eiltes, basics, and 2 packs, and one last HOF series before I was fired and cost Mattel the line. This is only for me, and I will lie and say that these guys are all ok'd by WWE:
Elite: Hollywood Hogan with Hollywood Rules shirt, sunglasses, weight belt, removable bandanna, and world title, and boas Hulk Still Rules Hogan with Undisputed title, sunglasses, boas, Hulkamania shirt, removable bandanna and weight belt Mr. America with Removable mask, shirt, and weight belt, and boas King Haku with crown and cape Kurt Angle (draft attire, interchangeable receding and bald heads) with medals Chase .5 per case Powers of Pain Warlord Chase .5 per case Powers of Pain Barbarian
Basic: Mean Gene Okerlund Gorilla Monsoon announcer Mr. Fuji JJ Dillon (to go with the 14.99 Horsemen set) Jim Cornette GM Eric Bischoff
2 packs: Announcer Jesse and Announcer Vince Gary Hart and Kabuki Team Angle (Haas and Benjamin)
HOF: David Von Erich Superstar Billy Graham with tye dye shirt, 1977 belt, hat, and sunglasses Koko B Ware Fritz Von Erich
After this, my collection is complete, so I'm good.

I would bring back fun color variants. If someone only gets one Elite release a year, it'd be so awesome to get a choice in attires. Nothing dramatic like the time they did Nash/Diesel as splits for some reason, as if there wasn't a huge demand for both characters. But more along the lines of Ted DiBiase Jr in Elite 10 or whatever it was. To give a modern example, with Jericho's next Elite, I'd have one with his dark blue attire and one with his gray attire. The scarves would also have a color change. I am admittedly a HUGE mark for WCW's Smash n Slam set, and that had the absolute best variants imaginable (aside from that awful Lex Luger with a painted on shirt....). I would also secretly make Owen Hart figures for my personal collection and FIRE anyone who told on me. THIS. Especially for the Superstars whose gear is just a palette swap like Charlotte, Nia Jax, Eva Marie and Alexa Bliss.

Lego will make sets that are $100+ and overpriced for what it is. (Wasn't the Death Star like $500?) I see things like cheap-looking crappy TMNT sewer playsets or Batcaves for $100+.
I don't get why Mattel doesn't make a premium entrance stage that's proper scale considering they made the ESR. They make crowd barricades that fit well with the basic ring. I imagine the existing entrance stages are a decent scale with the basic ring.
But I would pay over $100 for an elite scale entrance ramp with zero bells and whistles (no flashing lights or gimmicks), a floor mat that fits around the ring, and a barricade that looks exactly like the one on TV so I can make my arena look as authentic as possible.
Mattel did this with that Castle Greyskull. I would put together some kind of premium sets with a premium price, and make a very limited run. Like maybe x number of preorders gets it made.
I feel like all the cool extra stuff Mattel makes is designed for the basic series stuff. Elite scale is completely forgotten about.

I think I'll be the only one to admit that I'd be a terrible head of WWE Mattel's haha. I couldn't and wouldn't be a boss lol. It's like sticking someone who has no knowledge of how to run things as boss. It would be like if you made someone who has no business in politics the president of the United Sta.....Nevermind, I'd make a wonderful boss.

I'd make retailers sign an agreement to make "exclusive" figures available online. I hate that the Target exclusives will be the only thing I find at Target for the following year. Same goes for TRU. But at least Target and TRU will have those figures available in store as well as online. The main offender is Walmart. Walmart NEVER has a nicely maintained toy isle. I rarely find the exclusives in store. And they NEVER have them available online. It's very aggravating to see awesome figures online through these message boards only to never find them in stores. I usually have to end up paying scalper prices on FeeBay to get these Walmart Exclusives. If you go on the Walmart website now youll find some TNF exclusive figures available through 3rd parties for much more than the MSRP. I hate it so much.

I'm not sure this mentioned but I'd like to think that having a defining moments 2-pack would be a great idea. I know we have that Randy Savage WM3 coming soon but I think having him and Steamboat from WM3 would be a great seller. Maybe have the Barber Shop defining moment with Shawn and Marty. Again this might be more geared to the collectors than the basic users.
I'm still new collecting but more partial to the 88-98 time frame so might have a bias toward flashbacks.

1.cut costs by stopping the production of the stupid ass Zombies and Mutants line (although the undertaker zombie is pretty cool) 2.eliminate,or should I say DELETE! all rubber shirts and jackets (or atleast make it a flimsier rubber so you can actually pose the figures.) 3.4 RSC exclusives per year
4. Stop using the same female mold for EVERY figure
5.scale back the Cena,Roman,Orton basics (they don't sell trust me) 6.Make at least 1 GOOD Dolph Ziggler head scan.
That's about it I think.

I'd release a mick foley figure
I'd rerelease early figures people may have missed like elite 12 Kane. And people will say, "change it up a little so mine does drop in value." Neca has been doing it with the predator line and the newer releases are better in terms of articulation so as for a toy company doing it, neca is one.
Stop with exclusives in Canada and the U.K.
Make box sets. Example: DX box set Character box sets like: 3 faces of foley
And stop with the wrong attire based on the date the figure is suppose to take place on. Stop with the wrong head like the recent network spotlight undertaker. Give the figure the appropriate belt like ultimate warrior elite series 6 and legends wave.. How they mess this up... blows my mind.
