Hi all, so here is my collection. I decided to collect the WWE champions from 1986 - 1998 (The era I watched as a kid) This also allows me to keep my collection small but as a challenge I decided to collect figures in the attires that they won the gold with. By chance my collection actually starts and ends on a belt change which is pretty cool. Only two more guys to go - the upcoming Diesel and hopefully a Bob Backlund... if they ever do one! UPDATE - so I got bored waiting for the HOF Diesel and started collecting Retro's of the same guys. The challenge is going to be trying to match the attires! Here are some pics...    |

Good start.
Starting is fun. Try to pace yourself and add gradually. It's more fun that way and easier on the wallet.

None of those figures were made before 2010!  lol Seriously though those are 7 figure that should be in every collection! Although I am surprised that there isn't at least ONE of Mattel's three British Bulldog figures mixed in there. |

Thanks all. I'm enjoying collecting again. Good advice on pacing myself though! Funny you should mention Bulldog. I'm from the UK so he and Bret were my favs growing up but sadly he won't be in my loose collection (champions only) but I do have Bulldogs most recent elite moc.

Great start. You've made a wise choice sticking with the REAL legends and not today's bozos! So you still need Sheik, Andre, Dibiase, Macho & Yoko. Happy hunting!

So just wwe championship winners in those years. No doubt I'll be tempted to move on to intercontinental and tag team after I'm done but I think the Mrs might have something to say if they take up too much shelf space!
So to my understanding, i'm missing Bob Backlund and Diesel. I think Sheik was pre 1986 and I don't think Dibiase was ever champ. I think he bought the belt from Andre.

Hi all, I thought I'd share some of my Feb purchases - Andre, HBK and Yokozuna. Think I've tracked an orange Tristar Macho Man down so fingers crossed I'll be able to slot him after Andre. Hope HOF Diesel comes out soon - then I've just got to hope for a Bob Backlund to complete the collection! Nice, you should buy a world title for each of them. |

Yes I've been tempted with an IC collection from the same years. I even bid on a Mr Perfect elite but lost. Maybe it was a sign! Since then, i've decided to get the other Bret elites instead but we'll see what happens after I've got them!

DaveyI really love your collection! Right now I've got my collection divided by eras. But love the idea of Championship lineage. On a side note, I think you should add an Austin. He was the next new guy to hold that title, and the next night on Raw is when that belt got replaced with the big eagle/attitude era version.
