If anything if Rollins does miss WrestleMania 33 especially after this latest injury then who steps up to face Triple H at Wrestlemania 33? Because there is no way the COO would leave himself off the card he would actually want to be competing so who would make for a perfect opponent

It's so tricky because everyone is pretty much already booked up. It's the reason AJ is being left with Shane.
Balor I suppose but I could see him against Joe instead.
Maybe he'll just cut a promo

Most likely Finn Balor, but if Seth Rollins does compete. Who the heck is Finn Balor going to face? I'm still holding on to a little hope of a cross brand match between Styles and Finn, but it's not looking too good. |

I hope he's not on the card if its not in a match with Rollins, nothing else makes sense. Even then I think it should be Rollins vs Joe, Triple H will get his match with Rollins later in the year.

What was Rollins latest injury? Because I am almost certain he didn't really reinjure his knee in the attack by Samoa Joe on RAW. Why does HHH even need to be on the Wrestlemania card? Because of his ego. I think what you meant to say is because even today Triple H is still better than 90% of the modern roster. |

I think what you meant to say is because even today Triple H is still better than 90% of the modern roster. He tore his MCL again, and it really makes no sense for it to be a work. It's pretty clear they would've done Rollins/Joe at Fastlane if he doesn't get hurt. Why take him off TV for weeks, if not months, when the feud was finally picking up steam? |

This'll probably never happen but I'd love for trips to come out on the raw before mania and cut a promo about him making NXT what it is and than Sami (who in this senerio wouldn't be booked for a mania match yet) comes out and says something about the superstars like him made NXT why it is (or some crap like that) and then they face each other at mania.

Sounds like Rollins will be good to go. I don't think we'll be seeing Finn Balor until after Wrestlemania. Reports said he wasn't cleared to compete at the Rumble. So I think they'll take there time with him. He'd just get lost in the shuffle at Mania anyway with the big matches set.

Said it a few days ago with the other thread... I'd go with Triple H vs Sami Zayn. Have Triple H and Joe in the ring bragging about what they did to Rollins. Zayn comes out and asks Triple H "What happened to the guy I looked up to in NXT?". Triple H asks Zayn "What happened to the guy with all the untapped potential from NXT?" Referring to the fact Sami has not lived up to his potential. Sami slaps Triple H. Joe steps up like he's about to rip Sami apart. Triple H stops him. Triple H attacks Sami. Sami starts to get up and challenges Triple H to a match at WM. Triple H smirks and accepts.
Skip forward to WM. Before the match, Triple H is talking to Stephanie about how easy his night is going to be. They laugh. Match starts and Sami takes it to Triple H full throttle. After 10+ minutes Triple H is forced to use his sledgehammer to win. Maybe even help from Samoa Joe? Triple H barely escapes with the win. Crawls out of the ring like he just fought for his life.
This way Triple H has a victory under his belt before the inevitable match with Rollins. Sami gets elevated by taking Triple H to the limit. Win/win.

He's also been teasing it on Twitter lately. I'd put a lot of money on him being back in the next few weeks to set up his match. |

Sami, Finn or Joe i think would make awesome matches. wouldn't even mind seeing ziggler vs HHH they had an amazing match on raw last year
