Awe man my 11 year old self had no idea what to do! What an amazing concept and an awesome roster. Rewatching it older it sucks they added the crowd noise. Wish it got better ratings. Anyways who was your favorite?

I actually liked Wrestling Society X. I became a fan of guys like Matt Cross, Teddy Hart, Jack Evans through the show. One of my teachers at that time was also a friend of Matt Cross, shame i never got to meet him. My problem with the show was that it was half an hour and they tried to fit too much in that half hour. Would have been better at 1 hour. Other than that, i liked it. It made me miss half of ECW, but since i consider 2007 WWEs worst year product wise IMO, it wasn't a bad thing.

Great show. Awesome concept with the musical additions;nice mixture for the musical generation that we were. Commentary was good but missed Rivera from XPW to play off Klaus. Talent was off the charts, and storytelling was good too. Controversial moments (vampiro's coffin) and MTV being the channel (much like their Lucha show....wrong audience/not enough promo) may have done them in a bit. XPW also had a stigma to it that seemed to never pass, which may have tainted WSX since the producer and a fair amount of talent were from there. It is sad it is gone as it had so much promise. Thanks for the memories.

the big thing that stuck out to me with them was their use of special effects - a lot of people considered it cheesy, but i thought it was pretty damn cool.

I loved it. Matt Sydal's theme was killer and him gimmick was great. Loved seeing Black/Jacobs team there. Human Tornado!

I really liked the first episode, but it kind of went downhill from there. It was all over the place. I was the sad the last episode never aired.
I didn't realize Seth Rollins was in it, but I do remember his team with Jimmy Jacobs.
I do remember I absolutely hated the ring announcer. I love A Clockwork Orange, but this guy just sucks. (I didn't realize he is the guy who does the Vaudevillains intro - which I liked. We never see it anymore these days anyhow.)

I remember it on DVD, my buddy downloaded episodes and burned them. I remember thinking that they were definitely focusing their company around Matt Sydal it seemed. But as each episode went on, it got worse it seemed. I also didn't like that it was done in a season type mode. Same was Lucha Underground, which is one of the reasons why I never got into watching that organization.
Some XPW guys got on WSX which was nice. Ahhh XPW, now there's a whole other topic right there that could be discussed about for hours and hours.

I always thought they had an amazing roster full of characters. But I thought the special effects were stupid and the announcers got on my nerves. I loved the ring work by most of these guys. WSX introduced me to Human Tornado, Jack Evans & Matt Sydal.

I loved the show and was introduced to a lot of wrestlers (like Seth Rollins) I still follow to this day. Brought it over my friends place I watch wrestling with earlier this week and he hilariously called it a "parody of a pro wrestling show" and it was pretty spot on. It's so over the top and ridiculous in every way with the fake crowd but the action and athleticism was there for damn sure with a lot of fine indy talent in the pre NXT days.

Kevin Kleinrock has been teasing hard that "unedited" WSX matches will be released soon. MTV had a "no punching" rule, so most of the matches had to be cut to shreds, not to mention the time limits. He still apparently has the masters where matches went 10-12 minutes and actually resembled wrestling matches. Apparently the exploding casket match goes around the 20 minute mark originally, because it was supposed to be an episode in itself.

I loved WSX. It was wonderfully over the top. They had a great roster. If they went on they should have based it round the younger guys like Hart, cross and DIFH.
