Howdy partners;
I was just thinking about the Hasbro WWF action features on their figures, and how much I disliked one of them in particular. That one where you pushed down on the tab on the fig's back and they would "leap" forward. This feature was used on Ultimate Warrior 1, Brutus Beefcake 1, Koko B. Ware, both Headshrinkers, Jimmy Snuka, Kamala, etc.
I personally felt that it made the figs look awkward with their legs together (especially those with a larger frame, such as Kamala), and more so when you pushed their shoulders down and it stretched their necks out. I may be in the minority, but I HATED this feature.
So, for the sake of conversation, what was YOUR least favorite action feature for the Hasbros?

Rick Rude's (and others) headlock and punch. Because the joint would always get loose and impossible to pose like he's flexing.

I hated the jumping action as a kid. As an adult I appreciate it all, but then it was the worst. They were so limited

I wasn't a fan of the headlock actions, mostly because they made the bodies so small, but I liked them better than:
STOMPER: Warrior 3 & Giant Gonzalez style, as well as Buchwhacker/DiBiase 2/Nailz/etc. While these still looked great, the action was boring as hell.
JUMPER: aside from a very select few, these always resulted in cheap looking figures or the wrestler looking too fat...or both. Not too fun to play with either since they'd usually miss their target anyway

The Warrior 3 and Gonzalez actions I didn't care for. The Rude/Flair/123 Kid action is up there too. Also, Bossman #1's action is a...non-action.

Tough call, but probably the Headshrinkers for me. Don't look nice carded or loose.

The Warrior 3 and Gonzalez actions I didn't care for. I liked those. That's my favourite warrior. And the Gonzalez is unique and awesome. Jumpers suck, however. Especially Snuka. He's was the first man out the rumble every time.

I wasn't a fan of the Rockers action features, either. Also, didn't like Snuka's or Rick Rude's action features. The 'headlock' arm on Rick Rude would always break by the arm/ chest as soon as you put a larger wrestler in the ring with him.

Marty #1 rocker dropper....worse than jumpers Come on; he and bearhug Hogan are the only unique moves! true bro but it just didn't work well. It was like a double stomp and didn't work well in play

The thing with those jumper ones, is that guys like Rocker Shawn, Beefcake, Snuka etc. couldn't get pinned since they had a giant hump on their back which made it so they could never got both shoulders down on the mat hahaha
But overall, I did hate the jumper figures. I wasn't a fan of Akeem/Dusty/Andre style of figure either.
The ones I loved the most were guys like Bret, Perfect, Tornado, Valentine, Crush. The clothesline option for some of them, and the punching option for the others were good.

I'm not sure I have a least favourite so to speak but Ted DiBiase #1 always bothered me by how small it is compared to other figures.

I'm not sure I have a least favourite so to speak but Ted DiBiase #1 always bothered me by how small it is compared to other figures. Never really noticed this, but indeed series 1 "Macho Man" Randy Savage is indeed bigger than series 1 "The Million Dollar Man" Ted Dibiase. In WWF Dibiase was billed as standing 6'3" and Savage as 6'2". In general Hasbro did a better scaling job than Jakks later did... Anyway, found a move I didn't like: the stomp (Dibiase 2, IRS, Bushwacker Butch). I liked the idea, but it didn't work out that well.

I think Ric Flair would have been better with a Shawn Michaels 2 or Million Dollar Man 3 action feature, maybe even a Mr Perfect...

Typhoon/Earthquake type. Took me weeks to make them stand up and then some idiot would knock them down. Normally my brother.
