That's my prediction. Lately we've seen a lot of early 90s figure such as Rick Rude,IRS,123 Kid,Nasty Boys,Berzerker,Warlord, etc but the new generation hasn't had too much. So in a chronological since you would have to think that era is the next big wave of flashbacks. That is when I started watching wrestling so that would be great to see a lot of people from that period especially first time in the lines.

We've gotten a lot of New Gen recently. Within the last year or so we have gotten 123 Kid (who you listed but he's 100% New Gen), Ringmaster, HBK (SS95), Sycho Sid, Tatanka, Narcissist, Bam Bam Bigelow, Hunter Hearst Helmsley, re-release of Phantom Undertaker, and Goldust.

Pretty sure Bill just does who he can when he can as far as legends are concerned. They have to be under contract, it has to fit the lines budget, and the series it is in budget

Let's see, so far we have...
Goldust Yokozuna Diesel Bret Hart HBK IRS Undertaker 123 Kid Bulldog Luger Razor Ramon Savage Warrior Vader Ringmaster Steve Austin Mankind HHH Mr Perfect Martel Bam Bam Jake Roberts Sid Jim Neidhart Earthquake Doink King Kong Bundy Typhoon Bushwhackers Nikolia Volkoff Tatanka Jerry Lawler (Billy Gunn doesn't count though, as this is the A$S Man and not the Smoking Gun) (Road Dog DX attire, so doesn't really count) (Rikishi doesn't count as Fatu)
Well, if you include everyone who was active at some point between post KotR '93 (Hogan's last appearance) until November '96 (Pillman/Austin gun angle which is the official starting point for "Attitude") there's over 30 different guys out right now that I can think of off the top of my head. Aside from different attires, who else is there to make that would be worthy?
Bob Spark Plug Holly PIG HOG Ahmed Johnson Skip/Sunny Barry Horrowitz! Hakushi Jean-Pierre LaFitte Mabel Savio Vega/Kwang Heavenly Bodies Well Dunn Owen Hart Rad Radford Steve Lombardi Backlund Roadie Jeff Jarrett Adam Bomb Seone (Barbarian) Duke Droese Aldo Montoya Blu Brothers Makhan Singh (either of his gimmicks) Eric Watts/Chad Fortune Can Am Connection
I'm sure there's more, so feel free to list!

Can the NWA era get some love? Mattel made NWA Dusty, Magnum, and the 4 Horsemen. But there are still names like. Harley Race, the Rock & Roll Express, Midnight Express, Jimmy Valiant, and the Koloffs left to make.

The only one I need left is Owen and he'll never get made. Maybe I can settle for some tag teams like the Godwins or something. I don't know. New Generation tag teams were lame.

How about adding a question mark next time in your headline? Or the words "I predict" ...

I'm being generous in saying there are 7 guys on the list of unmade figures worth making.

Makes sense to me. Mattel has done a pretty good job covering early 90's WWF (and to a lesser extent, early 90's WCW). I'd imagine some of the more colorful New Gen wrestlers would sell well.
My wants: Smoking Gunns Headshrinkers Hakushi Bret Hart (paint splatter attire) Adam Bomb Ahmed Johnson Godwinns Roadie Jeff Jarrett Savio Vega
Unfortunately a good chunk of those guys were in the concussion lawsuit or aren't in the company's good graces (Billy Gunn, Jarrett). Especially if Mattel continues avoiding making ECW and Attitude Era rosters beyond the top names.

Am I missing something here? Can Am Connection? Martel and Zenk aren't New Gen. They're 1986.

I thought TNF2 Bam Bam is a late 80s attire or does this count as both late 80s/early 90s attire?!

I thought TNF2 Bam Bam is a late 80s attire or does this count as both late 80s/early 90s attire?! Different flame patterns for 80s Bam Bam. TNF he didn't wear that much or that long. Thinking it was sometime in between the purple flames and the BBB attire. Surprised they went with it cuz it's kinda obscure and in my opinion his least well known attire

I want a Smoking Gunns more than is probably warranted. That is a gap in my new gen collection.
I am there with you for the nostalgia. I was born in '86. I don't have memories of anything older than New Generation.

So they're kinda outside that "New Generation" time frame anyway. And yeah, I was just listing guys who could be made, not guys I'd endorse.
