No WWE wrestlers should wrestle in jeans or tshirts. Just looks stupid for the average viewer.
Strowman - Take his shirt off and wear MMA style shorts (Like Lesnar). Have Skulls and Barbed wire designs on the shorts.
Ambrose - Shirt off and have him wear just Black Trunks and Black boots. Red Knee Pads.
Luke Harper - Shirt off / Black Trunks with a Red Skull on the back / No Knee Pads w/ Black Boots
Wrestling in clothes just bothers me unless it's a street fight. Thoughts?

While I think there's a lot to learn from MMA/UFC for WWE in realism/storytelling I don't want to watch a pretend version of a sport I already don't particularly want to watch.
I'll stick to my blue trunks with the yellow stars for now

No....but I agree they need to stop looking like average joes. Like on TNA when that former UFC FIGHTER comes out wearing blue jeans and shirt. And then he botched a powerbomb lol. We just need wrestlers who look intimidating. Like goldberg in his prime, hogan in his prime. We need big dudes who look like they could kill you. Today's wrestler looks weak, skinny, and doesn't look convincing. Like Jack gallagher. Can you imagine if he beat someone like roman reigns or sheamus? Just wouldn't be believable. A pro wrestler should make you turn your head when you see them. They are supposed to look larger than life. But today people are weak and our society is weak and don't want to see that .They want to see guys with bodies who look like them. Like kevin owens. The avg. male today is overweight/fat and doesn't want to see shredded guys on TV Like a prime lex luger. They want to see guys they believe they can get the body shape of. Just notice how in the indys most guys are really small. Basically....we need the guys to start hitting the juice hard. This is what a wrestler should look like :   Not   I just wanna say guys like ROMAN REIGNS - are the top bodies in WWE. Reigns looks like he could snap you in half. It's easy why HHH took one look at him and guys like Sheamus and made them stars. Because they LOOK LIKE WRESTLERS. |

Pro wrestling is a completely different thing than MMA. Wrestlers need to have their own character and personality, and gear is part of that. It just wouldn't work. They're already trying to do the same thing with belts, so they shouldn't do the same thing with gear.

I wouldn't dig it. Attire is a big part of someone's character, so the more variety the better.
I think that wrestling needs to stop trying to be things that it is not, and focus on what made us all wrestling fans to begin with.

No, no, no and no. Characters are a big part of what makes wrestling, what it is, and is not a regulated competition like the UFC, or MMA in general, which is a big reason for fighters having a standard look in gear. For some wrestlers, having tradition wrestling gear works fine, but others, if they had to be in normal gear, it would ruin them. A perfect example would be Bray Wyatt. If he was still rocking the Husky Harris look, the character would not work at all. And the Wyatt Family concept would have never worked initially, if Wyatt, Harper and Rowen were all in 'traditional' wrestling gear, when they were supposed to be a cult, from the back woods. The only thing I can tell you, if you want the uniformity of UFC, and hate that it's not in wrestling, stop watching wrestling, and just watch UFC then.

I don't feel like seeing Undertaker wrestle in underwear. Alternately, was funny seeing big Bull Dempsey wrestle in the unitards. Far as body types go, i had friends in high school who could bench 150+, and they just looked like fat guys or skinny guys with super dense muscle. |

Wrestling is wrestling for a reason. MMA is MMA for a reason. People like you kill it for everyone else who's enjoyed it for a long time.
MMA in general was doing crapty business around three years ago. The numbers UFC was drawing was terrible. If it wasn't for McGregor and Rousey, that company would be in the dirt, and there's no argument in that. Like boxing, UFC and the world of MMA will slowly fade away. Because trendy fans kill the fun for every aspect of fighting/sports entertainment.

Thinking pro wrestlers need to dress like MMA fighters to not look stupid is pretty ridiculous.
There is nothing more lame than a pro wrestler dressing like an MMA fighter in hopes of looking more legit. There's a reason Lesnar does it...because he actually IS/WAS an MMA fighter.
