People getting there hopes up will be massively disappointed even if they do sign.

It's only a matter of time before the Hardy Boyz come back home to the WWE..
It is a shame what happened with Jeff considering the WWE was ready to put the company on his back.. Dude was the next top dog.

I don't want to see the broken gimmick in WWE as Vince won't have a clue what the character is all about and will most likely water it down.

I wouldn't mind if they did this on the Smackdown after Mania. They could have Matt and Jeff feud with the Wyatts, and then have them move on to challenge for the tag titles afterwards against American Alpha and (hopefully) the Revival. That would strengthen a lacking tag division, and it would provide a great feud for the Wyatts' to carry them through the summer.

if they're going to have a final run then now is the time. jeff looks like he's hurting in the ring these days pretty badly.

I have a feeling they are coming back to the WWE
and coming back AS The Hardy Boyz....with cargo pants and arm sleeves and all. Nothing more.

It's entirely possible that all things "Broken" are the intellectual property of TNA. It's all depends on the language of the contracts. all things broken are definitely TNA. and what isn't broken, they usually break

They will just end up in ROH with all the other former TNA stars. Seems pretty unlikely, given the way ROH structures their top guys. Unless they get a Cody Rhodes type deal (and we don't necessarily know how his deal shakes out, or whether or not it would be extended to anyone else), The Hardys would be prohibited from working for any independent promotions in the US, and certain areas of Canada. They can still work international dates, but at their age, you have to wonder how much they're going to want to be traveling overseas. It's unlikely that ROH is going to be able to make up the income the Hardys would lose. So, unless they're willing to take what would probably amount to a pretty significant pay cut, ROH isn't really a viable full-time option. It definitely feels like they're headed home. For a long time, I was vehemently against The Hardys ever returning - particularly Jeff, but both guys seem to have really cleaned their act up and there's money to be made, so why not?

I would love to see them use the Broken gimmick since it's so trashy and still so ing cool. With the stuff Vince lets New Day do sometimes, I couls see them use the Broken gimmick, but IF they do I hope they have some freedom for the characters, otherwise they will be Ascension 2.0 only selling more merch....

As much as I'd absolutely love them to make an appearance/run down at Wrestlemania, I think if WWE has any intention of signing them then the Raw the night after 'Mania would probably be a more realistic prospect, especially with the typical crowd that show generally brings. You'd have to think Vince would be clever enough to realise that they would have to be Broken Hardy's, and not just the Hardy Boyz though.
They may well choose to just focus on heavy indy bookings though, but I'd image we'd see them on WWE programming by the time the year is out.

The WWE would have no idea on how to book their "broken" stuff. No matter what Jeff and Matt say or do, they won't be able to have any say because Vince would rather let some tv "writer" come up with something else. Anything, but the old Hardys, will flop like a fat girls boob in the WWE.

I would love to see them have one more short run in WWE and a Hall of Fame induction. I feel like Vince would want to bring them back as the Hardy Boyz, but I wonder if someone would smarten him about about the crowds forcing them to go with some version of the Broken characters. All it takes is a few smark crowds to start chanting "Delete".
I think in the long run NXT would be perfect for them. They can work from time to time and also work at the PC helping younger talent come up with characters and standing out.

We'll we got "certified G's" and "booty o eating stables" so why not have a guy who magically transforms himself into a boat.
Broken hardyz = This is what happens when you let guys who have done drugs their entire career have creative control over themselves.
Broken matt hardy is embarrassing, and to think the tag team they beat have been the champs for 12 years and give it over to the hardyz....

I'm sure that idea takes the attention away from Bray Wyatt. Bray is hot now that he won the World title. It's a good idea but like the Dudleys I think they will introduce them and then let the audience feel them out first. I can't see them going straight for the world title on they're debut. Yeah you're probably right. Don't get me wrong you have a good idea here. I think Matt and Bray is a dream feud like a Sting vs Undertaker. It can def lead up to them going against each other in the future. I think the Hardys at this point have to be re-introduced to the new age fans first.

I don't think they're coming back. Not now anyway. The Young Bucks have shown that tag teams can make a good living in the indies while working their own schedule. Both Matt and Jeff have young kids (and Matt has another one on the way), plus they're both getting older, I doing they'd be too excited to be on the road 300+ days a year.
After this whole Broken thing cools down and the indie data start drying up, I could see them coming back and having a run like the Dudley's recently had. A year or two, hopefully one finally tag title run (like the Dudley's should have gotten), HOF induction, then call it a career.
