Will be buying two, and the second one ill pop the jakks classic hollywood head on it...hopefully this line will produce a sting with a proportionate head size because mattel has made them way too larrrgggeee and out of scale...sort of like a bobble head or a pop figure head. Ofcourse, id like to see shawn michaels made and owen hart. Im not seeing many of the popular mattel kids here maybe theyre humiliated by this figures greatness and theyre pretty speechless.

Just won't feel right putting him in with Mattel figures. We're going to get the Mattel version eventually. Just have to be strong and patient.

Intriguing. If it had an alternate head, I'd probably be sold on sight. I kinda agree that this one seems just a touch off. Maybe a little cartoony, but just a little. It looks best with the sunglasses and bandana on.
But yeah, this is a high-end collectible, not mass-market so I'd peg expectations at $55-$80. Well worth it for what it is, but clearly might not be the thing for mass-market collectors. That actually makes me a little surprised that its in scale with the Mattel figures and not, say, a true 1/12 scale like most collectables in the vein. If Storm is confident enough to make this, that certainly implies Hogan expects to be out of the WWE for the foreseeable future, but that might also mean they could make more eras of Hogan. Personally, I'd love to see a red/yellow Hollywood Hogan.

Looks cool but I was hoping for Mattel. I am in my car eating lunch and I was gasping and shouting Yessssss! Now I am less enthused.

Sting and Shawn Michaels are under contract to WWE so they won't be produced by these guys any time soon.

When people told him why he got upset and eventually was either banned or deleted himself.

Definitely in for 1, may 2 if I can get the second for a good price. I'm very pumped for this figure. Between this Hogan, the hooded MOD Taker, and HOF Edge, this is a great year! I too hope there are other incarnations of Hogan made by storm.

Think about the price, anything more then $80 is going to rule me out. That is about a 1/3 of the 1/6th scale version which I intend on getting. So price will play a part in my decision.
I doubt this leads to any further figure of others. Unless they can secure someone from outside the WWE. Not sure how many A-level Talents aren't in the WWE family at the moment.
Warrior, Hitman, Macho, HBK, HHH, Taker, Rock, SCSA, Foley, Lesner, Goldberg, Piper - all under WWE. Sure there are ones I am missing, but is there anyone that could justify Storm making figures of?

That torso joint is exactly what I wish Mattel would have done. To me, it's looks more realistic.
As for the figure... If Mattel makes one soon(ish), I'll wait. If I have no other options, I'll get this.

Chances of a Mattel Hollywood Hogan are certainly higher than they've been in years. but lesbihonest......Mattel's stubborn, and would just hotshot that Sheamus torso Hogan figure w/ the too pale skintone. They won't go back to the drawing board and give us an appropriate Hollywood. Getting Mattel to change part choices on an elite...is like pulling teeth.

Someone should send Storm Collectibles the concussion lawsuit list.....and include Owen Hart. Definitely Owen Hart. I know it will never happen but they have the potential to make a lot of figure collectors really happy, and would make a ton of money in the process. To be completely honest, if they were to release an Owen just like this, I would preorder it even if it was $100.

The price point will be the deciding factor for me. Storm figures at this scale can run anywhere from $60 (Ryu, Scorpion, Bruce Lee) to $100 (Bruce Lee Premium, Zangief).

Storm Collectibles figures range between $70-$100 online, and some shops have the MK and Street Fighter ones at $80, so this Hogan is not gonna be cheap.

Here's 2 Comparison shots with Elite 34 Hogan: I was on the fence until you posted this. As long as it isn't prohibitively expensive, I'll be getting one. Side note: I didn't even notice until after seeing the comparison pics - he has nipples. I'm so used to Mattel figures that I find it more realistic yet oddly disturbing.

That figure is bad ass. I would love for Sting to leave his legends contract and get a figure made by this company. This figure is way better than a Mattel figure.
The problem is that if it's like a medicom or figuarts, the price will probably be at least $55.
