I can't imagine Hogan having the belt for several more years but when there's a will, there's a way and I'm sure he would've gotten away with the belt a few times during 1993-1997. I don't see Diesel getting the belt in late 1994 or Bret before then. Hogan would keep feuding with the big guys or the foreign guys and probably Narcissist Lex Luger. Maybe some of the lower card heels would have a bigger role in the company (Adam Bomb, Headshrinkers, Crush, Kwang). Brutus would probably do the masked man, turn on Hogan gimmick in WWF. Razor would still be in a good position because he's under the hw champ as IC champ. Shawn may start getting momentum in 1996 but still under Hogan and Hogan would never work with Shawn in a main event as a heel, like Diesel did. I can also see Hogan rekindling a Million Dollar Man feud with the Corporation and that would probably kill business even worse in 1995. Then he would move on to Mabel. Bischoff probably wouldn't feel the need to compete and try and kill WWF in 1995-1996 so WCW wouldn't be as successful. Hopefully Hogan just goes away in 1997-1998 making room for the Attitude Era.

I just cannot see Hogan putting over Bret Hart, especially submitting in his sharpshooter. I think had Hogan stayed then Bret Hart vert well may have ended up in WCW. By the time Hogan came back in 93, Bret had a taste of being the top guy and there is no way Hogan would have shared the spotlight so if Bret wanted to be the man he would have had to move to WCW.

We would never have gotten Thunder in Paradise, that is a certainty.

I wish hogan, hall, nash never left to be honest. wcw would have stayed about wrestling with guys like 4 horseman, vader and what not. i dont think wwf would have went full rated "R" era. would still been the hulkster, razor ramon, & diesel out there battling shawn, bret, etc. we may have not got the NWO, DX, austin, rock or the attitude era. but wrestling may have stayed more like it was back in the day when so many of us loved it most. (MAYBE?) eh, as much as i love traditional wrestling like wcw had for so many years, the change to modernizing wrestling was needed. wcw was losing money until they changed their recipe and became more of a sports entertainment product. smoky mountain wrestling kept that old nwa rasstlin' formula, and by the time the company closed in late 1995 it was an incredibly aged product.

But would they do the whole he's Andre's son gimmick?
I could see Vince doing it, but would he have actually thought of it? Who knows.

He probably would've had the finish changed to Bret pinning him with the piledriver instead of him tapping to the sharpshooter. At lest we would've gotten the original Summerslam '93 poster that is rumored to exist!

You're absolutely correct. Hogan staying with the company would have created a myriad of problems for the main event scene. Based on the accounts of the meeting that Vince had with Macho Man and Ric Flair at the end of '92, Vince had already decided to move on to his next set of stars. Hulk clearly still viewed himself as the top draw in the business, and putting over younger guys cleanly, particularly smaller ones like Bret, wouldn't have been a prospect to which Hulk would have been receptive. Hogan might have felt differently about Diesel, but Nash clearly wasn't ready to headline in '93 or early '94.

Hogan vs Bret Hart was going to be the main event at SSlam 93 so that would of happened for sure if he stayed. I think by 96/7 Vince would of finally turned him heel since the times were changing and no way his 80s shtick would fit in by time the Attitude Era came in. As far as the WCW and the NWO is concerned they would of most likely put Sting as the leader as that was a rumored plan if Hogan backed out. So if Hogan stayed with WWF it would've been a whole different ball game to say the least. wwfoldschool.com/hulk-hogan-vs-giant-gonzalez-almost-happened/View AttachmentSo according to this acrticle, the match was the Mega Maniacs vs Money Inc, then what are the Smokin Gunns doing outside the ring there in that image?

Well 1 thing is for sure if Hogan stayed with WWF beyond 1993 - then Lex Luger wouldn't have been pushed to the moon - because Vince Mcmhaon only gave Lex that USA gimmick and slamming Yokozuna, because Hogan had left. Vince felt like he needed an American super-hero to replace the Hulkster in '93.

Even in 1993, no way in hell Hogan is taking a piledriver lol!
