this does not bode well for tna. in a time when their management should be doing everything possible to create a new image to the public and their peers, they've decided to self sabotage (again) by attacking one of their most important characters.
this reminds me of when they spoke ill of aj styles when he first left tna. only this is completely over the top with the fact of a lawsuit involved.
this legit makes me not want tna to succeed if these are the types of people running it.
also, lol at the 'jj drunken texts' comment from reby.

As a lawyer, I can say the following only since I don't know the facts:
Often, a company can only trademark name and characters to a certain extent. That's why the Dudleys became Team 3d. Logos are also fair game. But how a person acts...most likely not going to be something they can trademark or obtain rights to. And really, it'll be pretty hard to gain rights over the phrases "Delete" and "Wonderful" since it is common expressions. This is just a failed attempt at a power move by TNA to get the Hardys to pay them some money for the rights to use the Broken Name. It would really depend on the Hardy's contract too. Some employment contracts state something to the effect of if you create somehting during your tiome here it becomes the possession of TNA. But if it doesn't, good luck proving your case Anthem.

Yep. Even if Anthem/Impact had a case here (and I don't think they do), they're going to be seen as petty and vindictive in the eyes of the fans. TNA has built up years of bad press and negative publicity, while the Hardys are generally regarded as darlings of the independent community. TNA is attempting to stifle their ability to earn a living, and putting an undue burden on ROH, a promotion with positive will with fans and a rabid fanbase. This tells die-hard fans who may be outside looking in on TNA that nothing has changed despite being under new ownership.

I gotta say, i get and respect Reby Sky defending her family in Twitter, but she should really shut up and let the lawyers take care of this issue. Shes doing nobody a favor by rantimg like she is. Like i said, i respect what she's doing, Matts a lucky guy to have a woman like her

So TNA is gonna waste more money that they don't have on lawyers trying to take away a wrestlers way of earning a living because there gimmick got over and they wanted to pay them crumbs and take 20% of there indie bookings ??
TNA impact wrestling is a joke, then now and forever.
