This always gets my mind racing. I love "what might of been" scenarios.
For those that don't know this was going to be Easy Es WCW rebirth without Ted Turner, which fell through and WWE bought the videos, rights ect.
I don't think any matches ever got planned, I believe the brand would take a few weeks off then come back with this ppv and a fresh Nitro with booker T the main guy. But it wasn't to be.
What would you of liked too see, or do you know any additional information about plans going forward?

I would've liked to see Billy Kidman become WCW Champ.

i think another ecw talent raid was most likely in the works - super crazy, kid kash and potentially even ryno were young guys who were looking for big contracts and wcw needed some new blood.

I also feel they would of had a Lexmark Luger style major name jump ship.
I presume main even would be Booker/Stiner rematch for the world title.

I also feel they would of had a Lexmark Luger style major name jump ship. that wasn't really possible after contracts were changed to prevent that from happening (no compete clauses).

It's a shame that it took Bischoff to the very end to see that he should have pushed new stars instead of relying on the old former WWE stars that he had gotten.
I remember though on WCW SuperBrawl 2000, Mark Madden said about the Kidman vs. Vampiro match, "I predict a year from now these two will be competing over the US Title and two years from now the WCW Title." So I am kind of glad WCW died when it did, because I would not want to see that happening.

I said this in the past and I'll say it again here...I miss WCW.
The unique PPV's, announcers, Big Gold Belt etc. It was a great alternative to WWF back in the day. I'm not into TNA and ROH and WWE's product today is God awful so at times like this I really wish WCW was still in business.
I remember being really bummed out back in 01 when they folded as I knew wrestling would never be the same. One solace I got though is going back and watching the old shows and events as it takes me back to a simpler time and a time when wrestling was red hot.
Long Live WCW!!!!

For as bad as WCW got, it really was an alternative to the WWE. I miss it.
As for what would have happened had Bischoff bought it; the rumor is that WCW would stop airing for a few months and rebrand. Steiner would have remained champ until the rebrand and then Goldberg would take the title from him. More talent raids would have likely happened, as RVD himself has said that he was close to signing with WCW before it was bought out.
WCW had a tone of young guys with a lot of potential, but seeing how long guys like Nash went in TNA, im afraid that they would have remained at the top of the card for atleast another 10 years or until the company was bought out again.
