I just wish more of the 80/90s wwf guys were still alive so I could meet them at wrestlecon. Rude, Perfect, bulldog, Savage, Piper, Bigelow, Hawk, boss man..... that would have been awesome. yeah, its not easy being a wrestling fan losing all those guys. we have the worst when it comes that as compared to say sports or music or movies or anything. |

A lot of guys you showed in that picture did not even wrestle in the late 80s. Anyway, I will say who made that ignorant statement. It was Dave Scherer of pwinsider.com. I remember reading him and the other guys from that staff looking back at wrestlemania 4 and 5. He said that he could have gotten into the arena for free for both shows. He didn't go because he hated the wwf product back then because of the "big slow guys". I'm not too fond of wwe these days, but if I can get into a wrestlemania for free, I'd do it in a heartbeat.
