After Wrestlemania, please move him to Smackdown and repackage him.
Let him be Mr. Perfects son! Let him be Curt Henning Jr or call him Axel Henning. It's a damn shame that such a great pure wrestler is stuck doing absolutely nothing. Give him a manager, see if you can gt Bret to manage him, maybe even Paul Ellering.
Or when Roode debuts, let Axel change to Curt Henning Jr and manage Roode for a bit, ala Flair/Henning and eventually one of them turns and big program comes out of it.

I was thinking the other day, he could be "Almost Perfect" Joe Hennig.
He would shoot 100 free throws but miss the last one. Hey, he's almost perfect - just not quite there yet.

I'm always in favor of pushing guys named 'Axl/Axel'.

Never was a fan of Axel. He's a decent dropkick, but that's about all I've ever gotten out of him. With that being the case, he brings about as much to the table as Hardcore Holly did (minus being an awful person)

he'd need a repackaging with a bit more depth than 'i'm mr perfect's son'.
there's been problems there since day one.

Axel is widely overrated imo. I know he has some fans on here, but he's about as bland as can be to me.
From "Terrible promo McGuillicutty", to non existent Superstars regular, to being arguably the worst Paul Heyman managed guy ever, to Axelmania, to John Cena Cosplayer, there hasn't been a moment in his 7 year WWE career that I felt like he added anything to the product. To be quite honest, being Curt Hennig's son is legit likely the only reason he's avoided roster cuts all these years. Same with the Shining Stars being Carlos Colons sons.

Could really be well used in NXT I believe If you mean by putting over the future crop of WWE call-up's, I completely agree.

He's literally one of the most bland in ring performers I have seen in my life.

I will always have a small bit of hatred for WWE completely ing him up. The feud should've been CM Punk vs Curtis Axel WITH Paul Heyman, not CM Punk vs Paul Heyman with Curtis Axel. I'd love to see him on SmackDown, not as AxelMania Curtis Axel, not as "Better Than Perfect" Curtis Axel, but something new. He was briefly doing a Skol Axel Skol thing about his hometown. Maybe that could work, give the fans something to chant along with. The Roode/Axel thing as Michael suggested. Or maybe something similar to Slater where it's his last chance in WWE, easy to get behind.

I wouldn't mind seeing Axel form a team with the rumored to be called up Elias Sampson. Both would have to be repackaged a bit for it to work. But maybe they could gel enough to be a formidable team.

He's not his father.
There are plenty of grossly underutilized guys on the roster. I don't even think Axel would crack the top ten. He's had his chances, and he's failed at all of them. I think the ship has long sailed.

38 years old and 10 years with the company. He couldn't get over with a Raw win over HHH, the IC title and Paul Heyman as his mouth piece. Plenty of guys on the roster that have a lot of talent that were cast to the side after a couple months.

His repackaging with Heyman should've shot him right into the main event. Bad booking ruined that, Punk just needed all those wins though, didn't he.

He simply wasn't good enough to be shot into the main event, Heyman at his side or not. Protecting Punk, the second biggest start in the company at the time, was far more important than trying to get Axel over.

That ship has sailed. The talent pool is loaded with guys who are so much better than Axel. He's where he should be.

Curtis Axel, David Sammartino, Erik Watts, David Flair, I could go on.....just because you're second generation talent doesn't mean you'll be good.
