Before I start, I just want to say that this isn't a thread where you say whether or not you wanted this match to happen or not. We get it, it would be "a bathroom break" and "a pointless match".
Now..... big show has been announced for the Andre the giant battle royal which means shaq vs show isn't happening, but why is shaq posting work out vids calling out big show even though it isn't happening. Big show is training and trash talking, shaq is training and trash talking, so where is the match? Could wwe/shaq not reach an agreement? Was it not enough money for shaq? Did they already have other matches planned? Will they both be in the battle royal?

This is a pointless thread. I need a bathroom break.

It's a nothing Battle Royal. Show can easily be withdrawn from the match if him and Shaq goes ahead.

Don't let my post distract you from the fact that I just distracted you.

Shaq wins the thing by tossing out show.

If I had to guess, I think WWE was tired of Shaq dragging his feet. Least that's what Big Show has implied. So I assume WWE moved on.
And let's be honest, having Shaq in 2017 isn't really that big of a marquee acquisition. Very few wrestling fans want to see it. And I can't imagine that many outside people would order the Network to see Shaq wrestle. Though I've been bored with Show, he deserves better.

The commentators ignored this, but on raw big shoe pointed at the wm 33 sign after his match and seemed to get pissed off. Maybe he is pissed that the match fell through.

He still got to face an O Neill just not the one he wanted.

My guess is maybe they compromised and got Shaq to be in the battle royal. It would be a brief appearance for Shaq and he wouldn't have to do anything really.

I don't know how Show himself feels about it, but honestly, I'd MUCH rather see him in the Andre Memorial each year than jobbing out to another non-wrestler.

I really don't understand how WWE thought this was a marquee match but then again Vince thinks the average child still watches the Jetsons

Cartoon network had a Scooby-Doo 5 years ago and lasted 3 Seasons, hell they're doing another Scooby-Doo show next year, although Flintstones are never getting a reboot like ever.

In all honesty I would rather see Shaq in a WWE ring that Big Show! Big Show ing sucks and is one of the laziest performers of all time the only thing that had me interested in his Wrestlemania appearance this year was Shaq.

Yeah Show is lazy, that's why he got himself into the best shape, perhaps of his entire career, has always performed on any level and you rarely hear bad things about him, because he is lazy. I feel bad for Show about all this. He wanted one last big match at Mania and Shaq kept asking for more $$$$$$$$$. Think the dude would have enough.

I said something similar in the other Shaq thread (lol).. That Shaq is probably asking for way more money than what WWE is looking to pay and they're playing it safe story wise.. Negotiations are probably still on going but WWE is making it to where they could do whatever they want.. WWE and The Big Show started posting videos blaming Shaq for the match NOT happening.. And in return Shaq starts posting videos promoting his worth.. It's all about that money, money.. Yeah, yeah.
