The views expressed in the following piece are those of Phillip Schnieder and do not necessarily reflect the views of the WFWF or any of it's affiliates. Schneider's Slayings is for mature audiences onlyLet's talk about fear for a second. Fear can be a wonderful, enthralling thing. Fear can be empowering. Fear can help you escape danger and can give you superhuman abilities to overcome the incredible. Fear can be crippling though. During last week's WFWF broadcast, WFWF announcer Daniel Knight says he's scared of me, when asked if Ante Whitner should be. Should Ante Whitner be scared of me? Am I an intimidating person? Have I come out swinging swords and saying I'm going to hurt Ante, I'm going to cripple Ante, I'm a bad man and I'm going to kill Ante and end his career because rawr scary man? No, I've said I'm amused by Ante. I'm encouraged by Ante. When I watch Ante Whitner wrestle, it motivates me. It brings the best out of me. And that's what you should be afraid of. Because for the first time since 2009, I'm going to soon be walking into a WFWF ring motivated, rested, recharged, reinvigorated. And healthy. I have no nagging injuries. I have no lingering issues that have surgeries postponed. I had arthroscopic knee surgery while living in Kyoto and I can run faster, jump higher, and kick harder than I ever could before. Arthroplasty has repaired my broken and calloused hands. And now, I'm prepared. I'm ready to wrestle. That's what you should be afraid of. I'm the face of fear. I'm Phillip Schneider and you're not.
