I'm watching Survivor Series '91 right now and Flair's rocking the black robe... with the 4 Horsemen boxset attire. And the tag title they're passing off as "the real World Championship". You can see it briefly.

You can see it briefly. They did a horrible job censoring it. There's a match on the network against Hogan at MSG and you can see it perfectly even though they attempted to put a black oval over it.

Speaking of DM Flair figures I just notice on his WM retirement figure his hand that is in a fist actually has painted tape on his index figure. You can see it in the gap between his thumb and hand.

I legit think that Flair was purposefully trying to screw up the censoring. He seemed a little too sudden and jerky in what I saw. And I have to assume so eone at some point told him to chill out so they can censor it properly.

Didn't Flair also wear this light blue trunks attire at The Great American Bash 1990 when Sting beat him for his first WCW World Championship?

For the life of me, I don't understand why Mattel/MDT chose to release that DM Flair in blue attire and not the black attire THAT MATCHED THE ROBE... (and was also the attire he won the '92 Rumble in too). One of the weirdest - and worst - decisions they've made, IMO.

Probably because it's the coolest Ric Flair robe, and the attire is also kind of a throwback to Ric Flair's Galoob figure.

I really appreciate this thread. As I saw my DM Flair the other day, I was trying to figure out what Defining Moment this represented and couldn't think of any!

hair/trunks/kneepads [starrcade 83] robe [early 90s WWF run] boots [wrestlemania 24] His trunks are not Starrcade '83. Ric has a black RF on his Starrcade trunks, the figure has white.
