whats the end game to this match?
Shane wins and......ok he beat AJ. "how dare you attack me in a parking lot 2 weeks ago"
AJ wins and "yeah thats what you get for giving me 3 world title shots!"
again, im sure the match will be fun, entertaining, good, whatever. But the story/reason/purpose behind it is just awful.

But the story/reason/purpose behind it is just awful. I agree. Zero interest in the feud itself, but AJ will be able to carry Shane in a decent 15 minute match or so, provided they're smart enough to make it a street fight. I expect it will be the best match of the night, mostly by default, since nothing else on the card even has the potential to be anything special. |

So I wonder what crazy thing Shane is gonna do in the match. Usually the elbow through the announce table is his go to spot. They can't do it again. Once set pictures leak, everyone's gonna be looking for something and say "oh so that's what Shane is gonna jump off".

I just find if funny everyone is agents Lesnar vs Goldberg. But on a show were John Cena, Randy Orton, The Usos, and Shane McMahon stood tall. Everyone is like zomg what a great show.

Not a great show, but the tag title match was excellent, so Smackdown wins by default.
The biggest question surrounding Mania now is what is Shane going to jump/fall off of?

AJ Styles is one of a few they had done a good job with, if the mania main event was. Cena vs AJ with Cena finally beating AJ and getting number 16 fine I would have been okay with that. |

I watched a little bit of Smackdown tonight. Great Tag Team match between Usos and Alpha, should have been a Mania match. I wish Smackdown used their tag division better with the great tag teams they have currently. Usos winning is fine, its not like Alpha did anything with em, though not their fault they focus more on the main event and women's division on Smackdown

There are really only so many things they can have Shane jump off of. I would guess it'll probably be the Titan Tron because, I mean, what else could it be? There's no built-in prop for their match like last year with HIAC.
Actually, now that I think about it, there's no stipulation for any match this year, is there?
