So here we go, The Miz and Dolph Ziggler are both former World Ic and Us champions, people are always saying the want Ziggler to be a top main eventer , and the Miz was, so that being said now they are both at the same lvl in the mid card, who do you like better and do you think one of them will rise again of has both the ships sailed?

The Miz has grown as a character since the brand split. Ziggler is just one of those guys thats just there, we'll use him if we need a good hand

I'd rather see Miz in the title picture again. As for Dolph, I'd rather see him as a jobber.

Miz is pretty much, shockingly, the best heel in the company right now. It hurts me to type it, but he has absolutely won me over with his efforts the last year or so. And I actually think he should get a run with the belt before the year is out.
Ziggler is pretty much where he should be at this point. He could get another run with the title down the line, but his ceiling is clearly mid-card or occasionally upper mid-card.

the miz is a very good upper mid card heel. ziggler has burnt out badly over the last year or so and at this point is damaged goods.

The Miz should be one of the faces of the company, and I think WWE has slowly started to realize that over the past year. I hope Wrestlemania is a springboard for him getting to bigger and better things.

Miz's stock is rising while Dolph's is plummeting

Ziggler WAS better. Without a doubt. Four years ago, he was the most over star in the company, and they ignored it because he wasn't in the company's plans. At this point, he's done. The level he's at now will be where he stays until he leaves. It's a shame, because Dolph really could have been a big star if they listened to the fans.

Miz, by far. He's had such a resurgence recently after doing little of note for most of the four or five years prior.
Ziggler has just never had "it" and it's a shame because his passion is (or was) undeniable. He kind of screwed himself over, too. He took a gamble on alienating the company and putting too many eggs in the "hey I'm popular online, look at my tights they say hashtag insider terms!" basket, in the hope that it'd cause an undeniable wave of fan support... Unfortunately it happened right around the same time as other Internet guys who were more talented than him (Bryan, Ambrose, Rollins etc) were coming along and taking over. And now he doesn't really have much of anything. He's currently miscast as a heel because he so badly wants to be cheered.
One thing though, Miz and Ziggler worked brilliantly together last year. For two guys who often seem to have no momentum, they had an outstanding feud with each other.

Dolph has had very little character development since 2012-2013 whereas Miz has soared. I'm a Ziggler fan but I have to go with Miz here.

The Miz flopped as champion I can't see him ever getting a run again but IMO he's OK as a mid/upper carder.
As for Ziggler well everyone was crying and raging because he deserved better but when the split happened he got put into a program with the World title ''News Flash'' Everyone turned on him.

What even is Ziggler's current character? Does he have one? At this point it just seems like he's all "I wish Vince Neil was my dad. I like Glam metal." is his character.

A thread comparing Miz and Ziggler, and people are overwhelmingly leaning towards Miz as the more rounded worker with the brightest prospects..
..I always knew this day would come!
Everybody so far has made brilliant points that I've been saying for a long time about Dolph. Miz on the other hand, I've always rated him highly, but the last 12 months he's soared over my own expectations of him. The Miz is world class.

Ziggler was probably my favourite wrestler from 2012-2015 along with Punk. Now it sadly looks like 'what could have been.' His match with Miz at No Mercy was excellent though and really brought out the best of both. What they do with him next though, I can't predict but always have hope it'll be good.
Miz is stellar atm, hands down.

The Miz will main event Wrestlemania again when the company stops bringing back the legends and part-timers or they all retire. Nobody is going to buy Dolph Ziggler as a main eventer anymore after 10 years of Start-Stop pushes and overexposure with the guy. This article lists the most repeated televised singles matches among full time wrestlers on the current roster and look how many times Ziggler appears on the list www.cagesideseats.com/2017/2/11/14588436/fight-forever-wwes-most-repeated-singles-matchesDolph Ziggler vs Kofi Kingston Dolph Ziggler vs The Miz Dolph Ziggler vs Sheamus Dolph Ziggler vs Randy Orton Dolph Ziggler vs Seth Rollins Dolph Ziggler vs Kevin Owens Dolph Ziggler vs Kane Dolph Ziggler vs Cesaro

As always, his character is a mess. The main thing is supposed to be that he's a grizzled vet angry at all these new era guys taking his spot, but it's kind of lost in the Shawn Michaels tribute and hair metal homage.

I wouldn't even really say they're in the "same level" in the Mid Card. Miz is someone who can jump between Main Event and Upper Midcard while Ziggler is stuck on the likes of Mojo Rawley, Kalisto and Apollo Crews.

I still believe Ziggler got shafted pretty badly by management/misfortune. Miz has been infinitely more enjoyable over the last 12 months though. They've both had kinda spotty careers though, fluctuating between "best angle on the show" and "literally nobody gives a ".

Currently, it's Miz. He's been the best heel over the past year (being the only heel to consistently garner legit heat from the fans). While in the ring he's still as bland as ever, his character has evolved after years of misuse and he's legit one of the top guys in the company again.
Dolph has unfortunately always gotten the shaft. 3-4 years ago he was one of the most over guys in the company. Problem is the WWE never acted on it and he's been in midcard hell for years with the occasional bone thrown his way before plummeting back down the card. He's still entertaining in the ring, and his selling is still top stuff to me, but he was never a chosen one of those in the back and his booking reflects that. Which is a shame, as Dolph has always had the talent to be a top guy despite his goofy name and craptastic booking.
