Fun Raw. Not much to speculate about since there's a draft type thing next week

Has anyone heard an update on Bayley? She seemed to be having a little trouble staying on her feet.

I'm hoping the Hardys get to keep their broken gimmick, or at least somewhat. I'd love to see Reby, King Maxell and Senor Benjamin come in somewhere down the line.

-- The ball was dropped with Emma's return. She should've been incorporated with the Dana/Charlotte storyline to begin with. Instead, we get her to return in a 6-woman tag. When her and Dana got into the ring together, I thought we'd see something between the 2, but they tie-up like nothing's transpired between the 2, what so ever. Like there was no history; then Cole tries to play up that they did have history, but it just fell flat. I think that bothered me the most about last night. Could've made a really GREAT angle with the 2, leading to a fall-out and have closure to their friendship... but instead, we just got plain $#!t on.
The element of surprise will ALWAYS work! Hence, was NOT expecting The Revival to debut on RAW! Great surprise, just wrong brand imo (especially now that RAW also got The Hardyz).
The crowd really spoiled themselves with the 'FINN' chants during Brock's segment. Because of that, when Finn finally DID return for the main event, it was cool but not as cool as it could've been had the crowd kept their mouths shut about him in the first place.
(Speaking of the crowds, the whole "DELETE! DELETE! ect" hand gesture reminded me of Nuremburg WW2).
And not sure what direction they're taking Braun Strowman; twice now, he's punked backwards (once for UT, and now with Lesnar last night). I thought Braun was supposed to be the monster who looks for challengers.......... ?? The E is def killing his momentum (and quick!)
I'd really like Seth to take a break and let his knee heal up. Getting Seth not 100% is commendable for his efforts, but that's just it, he's a guy who delivers well at 100%. Maybe come out saying "I got my revenge on Hunter, I'm gonna go home and heal up, and when I come back, I'm coming back for 1 thing only.... that Universal title. So whoever's holding it when I return.... be prepared for The King Slayer" ect something along those lines.
Otherwise, great show as every year RAW After Mania.
Goldberg's post show speech was pretty emotional, I respect the guy a whole hell of a lot more. The fans boo'ing him have that right, but they might never have that moment with Bill again. He did something special and it took guts for him to come back like he did.

If you're not in the business, you have no business calling it The Business. Why did this need to be done in the ring? Tell your kid you love him backstage, at home, in the car. Goldberg doesn't care about the business. Why should the business care about his family and what he came back for? Take it easy Rp-bangarang

But honestly that's the spot he should have been in. ESPECIALLY on a night like last night. Yeah the crowd wanted Finn but they wanted Finn vs. Lesnar. Once Jericho got taken out and the Lesnar segment had passed it was way too clear that Finn would be the big reveal at the end. Thus killing the reaction he should have gotten. Save the Jericho attack for his entrance and Finn would have gotten a much better reaction.

Fans don't care to see Finn return in a throwaway tag team match, just to get him a win in his return match. They want him in a spotlight roll and chasing for the Universal Championship.
Finn should've interrupted Brock and Heyman last night, with Heyman telling Brock to back down because he doesn't fight for free, or Bálor isn't worth it.
Having him pin the new United States Champion clean just fell flat.

-- I totally agree!
Finn should've come out during Brock's segment. They had Braun come out, only to back down; killing off a great deal of momentum they built up the last 9 months. Guy's a badass for sure, but his character took a BIG step backwards, last night.

Great to see Balor return but you get the sense that while HHH wants him in the top spot Vince does not. He will have to let his merch do the talking with Vince I'm guessing. Vince is going with RR by hook or crook.
The reaction for RR was VISCERAL. I don't care what anyone says it isn't the same type of heat Cena got/gets. There's more venom in it...& before somebody comes in to slam me and say "oh it was just the European crowd" it really isn't.
Great to see The Revival coming up but I'm with Marino here unless they are booked really well? They are gonna struggle....and hell yeah that Raw tag scene is stacked now.
Angles reveal as GM was A1.
Tired of Jericho. Owens needs to move onto bigger and better things.

A good Raw, but there's a few things that were glaringly obvious to me. The Hardyz aren't going to be broken. If they were, they'd of come out and had a promo, but instead, they were protected by being put into a Match as they knew full well that if the Hardyz cut a promo and it wasn't in the broken gimmick then that crowd would have cr*pped all over it and been hugely disapointed. There's absolutely no other reason as to why they were in a Match. I just don't understand why they would prefer to have a watered down novelty act of Team Xtreme over one of the hottest and most entertaining gimmicks there is. You can see Matt is trying to still say his phrases and sneak an odd delete gesture in here and there, but he's not in character and you can tell even from him he's thinking it's a shame. Maybe WWE just want to re-produce the gradual breaking again so that people who aren't familiar with it will be.
As expected, Roman also isn't going heel and they're going to continue to persist with him as a babyface despite the loudest pouring of boo's I can ever remember. We knew this from the way the commentators instantly put a piece in as he was coming to the ring to state how the Crowd 'might be slightly upset tonight as they are just upset that Undertaker may have had his last match' (not that they just hate Roman). They then re-itterated after the segment that this 'isn't your typical WWE crowd tonight, they have lots of fun booing the people they normally cheers and cheer the ones they normally boo', just so any new casual fans tuning in don't take it seriously. It's absolutely ridiculous.
Also, as expected, all roads lead to Roman, which inevitably brings us to the sole reason Lesnar is holding that title. Roman is essentially going to be the one that's ended up not only getting the rub from retiring The Undertaker, but getting the rub from beating the all dominant Lesnar who ended the Streak and conquered Goldberg on top of that. The only way I can see any light at the end of the tunnel, is, permitting Roman defeats Lesnar at Summerslam, is if WWE are toying with us, by having Roman forced so badly down our throats, come Wrestlemania 34 season they'll be a saviour (new Daniel Bryan situation), for someone to defeat Reigns and get the ultimate babyface rub.
I'm hoping Angle gets one more Match but I'm not optimistic. Thought it was pretty cute that they made sure to have four 'indy darlings' close the show to appease the live fans. Unfortunately, I couldn't help but look at all four and think they will be dancing with each other in that little pack for quite some time. I can't see any of them getting elevated to the Title unless they are on Smackdown.

Pretty standard RAW for me tonight. Hardy Boyz were the only highlight. Wanted to see Angle as a part time talent not a GM and meh for Balors return. Forgive me for not jumping for joy at something I knew was coming. Just waiting for Smackdown. Oh my we got ourselves a traditional basement troll. Maybe if ya would stop reading the dirt sheets you wouldn't ruin the surprise for yourself.

So the only real surprise was Dawson and Wilder - who may be good wrestlers, but are otherwise bland and boring as , with not an ounce of personality or charisma between them. Never did like them on NXT. Also, things they should've chanted at Reigns: "You don't deserve it" "Vince's boy toy/friend" "Not your yard" Why did this need to be done in the ring? Tell your kid you love him backstage, at home, in the car. Goldberg doesn't care about the business. Why should the business care about his family and what he came back for? Why did you need to triple post? You could have put all your crappy, anti-Goldberg whining in one post. Also, how's he going to make a retirement speech in a studio? He should've been on RAW anyway - it was stupid that he wasn't.

Never did like them on NXT. TBH, they could benefit from having a manager with them. They are a phenomenal tag team, probably the best team I've seen in a while. They remind me so much of the Minneasota Wrecking Crew or the Brainbusters, but i do agree personality is not their strong suit, so i hope they could improve on that or that they get a manager, cause these guys are too good in ring wise. I believe they'll do well on their own iust cause of how great they wrestle in tag matches, but they'll be a lot more over with a manager

One was Universal Champion, One was WWE Champion, One was TNA World Champion, Two were/are US Champion. We could do this all night. I was just stating a fact, not trying to say which championship meant more.
