[br California passed a new law were they got rid of all plastic bags and replace them with the thicker versions and pay 10 cents per one if you need it. |

I am 50 years old and never heard of that before until our daughter started collage in DC this past year and went grocery shopping for her. It was like an extra $10 for bags. Craziest thing I ever heard of. |

Why isn't it called a state bag fee then? It is but don't know why that guy said city when it's the whole darn state OP's receipt photo shows for California "CITY BAG FEE", probably where it stems from. |
