Man, I think this is really impressive on every level. The quality, the price, and the fact that it seems to be pretty in scale with the Mattel Elite's. I don't get the hate on the head sculpt from some people. Is it perfect? No. But is it awful? Hell no. I've seen Mattel head scans that look way worse than this. Love the accessories, and I especially love the shirt. If I have to complain about one thing, it would be about the packaging. Probably 85% of my wrestling figures are MOC, so I would have liked to seen a different style packaging, but it's really not a big deal... at all. He will look great next to my handful of loose elites.
Very rarely do I preorder any figures, and I usually wait till the Black Friday sale to scoop up all the RSC exclusives of the past year, but as a longtime nWo-ite I couldn't resist preordering this one.

Just ordered one. Was fully expecting this to be $60ish and still for sure would have bought one. Now, my question is. How can Storm offer and internet store exclusive with all those accessories and a limited print run (or at least I am assuming that it is less than a Mattel figure) for $35 when Mattel is charging $20+ at retail for an elite with not as much detail and less accessories? After seeing this, I feel like and elite should be closer to the $12-15 range. A long time ago the claim was that high oil prices were driving the cost of plastic up, so toys got steadily more expensive. Then oil prices dropped to record lows. But the toy prices remained the same. I would assume toy companies CANT drop the price of their toys, because investors would be super pissed at the loss of all that profit from the current crazy toy prices. Also, maybe the metal used to make the molds is more expensive now. We'll never know, companies never reveal those numbers. Internet exclusives can be cheaper because they don't need to be at a physical store though, saving on shipping and other stuff I can only guess at.

That price is flippin' amazing. I was all down for ordering him even he was $50-$70. Now it is a total no-brainer.

That Mattel got scooped on this Hogan is one of the biggest embarrassments throughout their otherwise respectable WWE run. Although it's probably more a result of WWE's relationship with Hogan rather than any fault of Mattel's licensing team, it doesn't make it any less embarrassing. Making matters worse for Mattel, this "knock-off" is actually one helluva figure. Mattel cannot argue this figure's existence into oblivion by claiming that it is an inferior product. Rather, it upstages almost any likeness that Mattel has produced, and at an affordable price to boot. I very much hope WWE contracts with Storm on an exclusive line of legends of figures. They obviously know what they're doing, and they listen to the fans. Pre-ordered!

I NEVER EVER pre order but I had to on this. $35 is a great price for what you get. I was sure it was going to be at least $50. $35 and look at all you get. the quality is great on storm stuff so it makes it an even sweeter deal

Now this figure needs the same treatment. RSC make the deal.

They say this is to scale with the Mattel figures. I hope that is true - and not just the height but also the width/proportions. If so, I'll consider ordering. If someone buys this, it would be great if they could post a photo of it right next to a Mattel Hogan figure so we can compare!

I don't get all the hate on the head sculpt either. I think it's excellent. Maybe my only nitpick is the eyes being slightly too big?
But for people to hate on it is pretty odd, considering the DM mattel Hollywood Hogan had the SAME head as the HOF Hogan. And if you remember, that head scan has a huge smile on his face. And not a smug heel hogan grin either. And for that reason alone, storm collectibles is already in the right direction.

Anyone know how much this would cost to ship to the UK? (Northern Ireland, specifically)

Some will defend their opinion like it's a documented law. Considering this is being made by a different company that sculpts heads instead of using scans AND it is similar enough to fit in a Mattel collection, I would say it's a win. Personally, I didn't mind the HOF head being repurposed into Hollywood on paper. I did see the unpainted proto head Mattel may have used but without color it was hard to judge. The only thing I didn't really like was the body size of the HOF figure being used for Hollywood. He was clearly jacked back up shortly after the nWo formed, so Storm did a great job there too. MAYBE a smug grin would've sent this thing over the top for me, but I'll take everything else for that price point.

This is not an example of one.
