Im really hoping its just the angle of the picture but those shoulders look HUGE...Like Rhynoesq huge...That slightly worries me.

Hogan in a muscle pose: This probably needed some improvement. If you do some extreme twists or bends, the waist area gets gappy. The ab areas of the Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat figures seem to sit lower into the trunks. For anyone not familiar with Storm's figures, they use a T-barbell that connects the legs and torso. The crotch area is soft plastic that floats over the "T". The abs are hard plastic and the upper torso is a soft plastic overlay. Standing next to my never finished Mattel Hogan:

Yeah I can see some people not liking the gaps that some of the more "extreme" poses create, but if it's anything like some of the other import figures I'm familiar with, you can usually hide the gaps a bit by moving the free floating pieces around. I think it'll be fine overall. Especially if it allows for increased range of motion then it's justified in my mind. I wanna be able to pose legitimate big boots and leg drops, and I'm confident this figure will be able to do precisely that.

Oh also if you don't mind, what are your overall thoughts? How are you liking the articulation and sculpt? Do the joints feel tight, and how well do all of the accessories fit? Are you happy with the scale and how he fits in with your mattels?
Sorry...just super hyped and very curious!

Again, I don't collect figures so I really don't have a horse in the race, but this figure absolutely blows away the Mattel prototype shown a few years ago. Not even close.

Are you happy with the scale and how he fits in with your mattels? Sorry...just super hyped and very curious! So far this year, I got four different Storm figures and I think all of them are great. At first, I thought Hogan looked to thick, but now I really like the proportions. I may have been too used to Mattel's body types. A few thoughts on accessories. The belt was frustrating to get back on, even though it's only pushing two pegs into two holes. The shirt may start to curl over time, just like some of Mattel's shirts. Shades and bandanna fit great. Storm makes the best interchangeable hands. They stay on tight, yet they are easy to swap.

Can you move the floating waist higher up Hogan's stomach or is it limited to hanging lower?
God, that head sculpt is legit. They even nailed the stubble.

That belt is the worst!! Once you take it off, it's impossible to get it back on! I tried for an hour! I finally gave up and will have to pose him holding it or without it. It is way too snug, and you can't get the two pegs back in. They either warp too much and won't fit in the hole, or the hole is just too small. I tried stretching it and everything. Anyone else??

Got mine a little while ago. Anyone else's fig constantly have a gap between the waist and the trunks? It won't stay up, gets close, but once you move it falls right down. I'm contemplating putting a dap of superglue on the trunks to make it stick to the bottom of the waist. The foot popped off instantly but went right back on.
The pictures don't do the head justice. This is the best paint job I've ever seen on a wrestling figures head. The skin tone and size are pretty accurate. Very cool looking figure. If the trunks were made of the same material the rest of the of the fig was of itd be one of my fav of all time. As others have said the belt is almost impossible to put back on.

Just got mine and opened it. I never thought I'd say this about a figure of a 40 year old man with skin like a burnt hot dog... It's BEAUTIFUL.
Thank you Storm and RSC.

Got mine this morning. It is absolutely incredible! Nothing against Mattel as they make some awesome stuff, but I don't think they'll be able to come close to this if they ever get a crack at Hogan again. The sheer detail and quality is unreal. Also, this figure can most definitely blend in pretty damn well with any Mattel collection.
The belt is a nightmare to put back on if you remove it. Best advice: separate the torso from the lower half of the body, position the belt in between the two then reattach the body parts. This way you aren't stretching the belt like crazy and won't risk possibly ripping it in half.

Mine is due tomorrow, can't wait! Though I did learn something valuable while waiting - do NOT take off his weightlifter belt!
For,those who already have him, how are the joints? Are they tight or loose? Can he hold poses?

Dude...it's incredible Your gonna love it i don't like the boa though I think the joints are perfect and his pose ability is the best I've seen I just stare at it. Hey Mattel please still release DM Hollywood and it would be really cool if he came with the Nwo title as a little bonus.
