If you had to rewrite ONE moment in history that involves anything (moment, match, injury) that affected wwe as a story (so nothing that involved rewriting history to save someone's life) what would it be?

Mine would be Austin never had to retire do to injury. It's hard to imagine this changed history, but imagine the fueds Austin could have with the likes of Orton, Batista, Cena, Edge, and Punk.

WCW doesn't fall. They make all the right choices to keep that company successful. And in 2017 are still going head to head with WWE. With many names like Orton, Batista, Sheamus, Lesnar and so on leading that ship

My knee-jerk reaction is that Chris Benoit would've retired shortly after losing the WHC,thus hopefully reducing the possibility that the events of a couple years later unfolded the way they did. Saving all three lives plus the entirety of his career and up until 07 ,good name. The other moment would be that WCW never went under,or at least that WWF would have successfully relaunched it on its own. As for a match, its already been mentioned.....Punk vs Rock with Punk retaining the title until that Mania ,making it a Triple Threat with Rock and Cena facing him. Cena pins Rock (getting not only the title but his win back against Rocky) and leading to a Cena vs Punk program that spring/summer. With Punk claining he was never beaten for the title. Even with Cena retaining there, it would have been better overall than what both did over that time period in 2013. On the injury front, either Steve Austins neck injury or Bret Harts concussion would be my choices, as both still had a lot to offer in the ring prior to their premature retirements. Edge has stated he was only going to go one more year anyway, so it probably impacted less over the long haul than Austin or Harts.

Chris Jericho defeats Triple H at WrestleMania X8, and retains the Undisputed WWE / WCW World Heavyweight Championship!!
I'd go with a double turn, with HHH turning heel, Jericho turning face, and Stephanie McMahon turning on Y2J. I'd go a step further and have Nash, Hall, and a surprise return from X-Pac, trying to help HHH win, only to be stopped by Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock, and the newly turned (during the match prior) Hollywood Hulk Hogan.

HBK doesn't hit the casket and isnt forced to retire during the additude era.
WCW fire Bishoff after year 1 of NWO and hire Pat Patterson or Jerry Jerritt to run it

I would almost agree with u if not for him missing out on huge paydays I mean Austin was making like 5-10 million a year where in '96 Hbk was making like 200,000 a year. So I'm just spitballing he probably missed out on 2 million a year during that era.

He was in no condition to be anywhere near a ring, even if he wanted to be. Realistically, he probably could've returned a year or two after he had surgery.

Undertaker beats Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 33. Just rewatched wm yesterday and it ranks up there in my top 5. When I was watching the main event I noticed after taker kicked out of the 2nd or 3rd spear reigns shook his head and got angry and I noticed what a big moment it would've been if reigns had snapped and just beat the hell out of reigns with a chair and turned heel. It would've been a history making turn, but it appears reigns will remain as the top guy with all these major accolades.

I definitely may have become a Roman Reigns fan if he snapped and started beating the hell out of himself with a chair.

The Rock does not get injured versus Cena at WM 29, and is able to set-up Lesnar feud for WM 30 , which leads to taker not fighting Lesnar and Have him Fight Bray Wyatt(The version of Bray still worth watching), and Cena in the main event vs Orton and Daniel Bryan instead of Batista.
