WWE legend Vader collapses in ring in horror scenes following match in Japan after being dropped on his head FORMER WCW legend Vader collapsed in the ring last night after being dropped on his head. The ex-world heavyweight champion was performing in Korakuen Hall, Tokyo, Japan, when the shocking incident happened. He was competing in a six-man tag team match with Keiji Muto & AKIRA against Tatsumi Fujinami, Riki Choshu & Shiro Koshinaka when he passed out.Horrific snaps showed the wrestling hero laid out on the mat with his eyes closed being helped by other stars following the bout. Vader collapsed after the match during a ceremony to honour the 45th anniversary of the debut of Tatsumi Fujinami. But the big man was quick to take to Twitter and tell fans that the incident was not serious.Vader said: “I just passed out ..it definetely had everthing to do with being dropped on my head Tokyo feeling better. “It had absolutely nothing to do with my heart but rather my head&Yes i did collapse in fact I was out cold thank uforld jap Wrest i love it. “Last night the first match for Fujinamis 45th anneversary show in Tokyo Sold out Did the opening spot with Fujinami I dropped on my head.” Fears for Vader’s health come from him revealing last year that two doctors had given him just two years to live. He said: “Told by 2.heart Drs at this time that my heart is wore out from footbal&wrestling I have 2 yrs to live , conjestive hesrt failure reality. “I am only now allowing this as part of my reality.” Credit: www.thesun.co.uk/sport/3381548/wwe-legend-vader-collapses-in-ring/

He should be enjoying the time he has left with his family. Wrestling might be what he loves but there's no point in putting your life at any more risk :/

Why is he wrestling with all of the health issues he has? Whatever happens I just hope for the best for him.

Poor Guy. He should hang it up for his health's sake, and WWE Needs to get him in the HOF Before he goes.

he was doing something that was important to him and has accepted his own mortality. he can do as he wishes.
happy to hear that it wasn't heart related...he's a bit too large of a man to be dropped on his head though!

Damn. Three of the guys in that match are in their 60's and a fourth isn't far behind.
I guess if Vader has decided this is it, he might just as well go out doing what he loves.
Gotta respect that.

Pretty sure Vader said he wants to go out in the ring, Randy the Ram style. I'm sure he's also thinking about his family with these last paydays.
I'm with kay five on this. The fact that he's come to terms with this situation and knows what he wants to do on the way out is something I respect. I don't mean to be crass, but what's the worst that could happen? He's going to die. He knows that already. Everyone else knows it too. I hope his last moments in the ring help him feel fulfilled.

Yeeeah, he probably should not be wrestling anymore. Normally I'd agree, but as someone who knows someone who is dealing with the same condition, I understand why he does it. It's not something that magically gets better. So you can sit at home miserable knowing you don't have much time left, or you can maybe have less time but actually do what you love. I'm sure he's talked with his family and they likely support him.

Gonna be a sad day when Vader passes for me. Other thanEddie Guerrero and possibly Umaga, gonna be one of the few times one of my all time favorites has passed away. No disrespect to the Pipers of the world, but they were before my time. Vader was a guy I was excited to tune into every week as a kid.

At this point he deserves whatever happens to him if he wants to risk his life.

im all for doing what you want to do, but knowing what we know about his heart i would never take my kids to a show that he is on for fear of him dying in the ring.
im glad this incident wasnt anything life threatening. wont say not serious because all head injuries are serious. seems strange that we are all brushing this obvious head injury off like its no biggie knowing what we know about concussions.
