Justin Roberts book Best seat in the house is supposedly one od thr best wrestleing books to come out in a while. He really rips on HHH in interviews. I'm thinking of getting it. Anyone read ut yet?

Is he trying to sabotage Hunter's Internet babyface status?

I liked Roberts, but there is no way I'd read a book about him or his stories. Ric Flair? Sure. Mick Foley? Yeah okay. Y2J? Yup. Justin Roberts? The guy that said names for a few years? Na.

I'll probably just read transcripts of it because I'm lazy but it definitely sounds interesting. I 100% believe that story about him and Connor. I genuinely felt bad about that situation because its like these are things that shouldn't matter in the grand scheme of making a dying child's dreams come true but in the same respect it was so petty and unnecessarily handled.

I had literally no idea that he even wrote a book. Remember when active WWE superstars wrote books?

Probably not gonna read it but I've heard some good stories from it. Besides the JBL stuff there was a good story about Stephanie.
I guess he was trying to get into WWE any way possible. A friend of his worked for WWE and told him to apply for a writing position to get his foot in the door. He applied and WWE flew him from Arizona to Connecticut to interview with Stephanie. He waited outside Stephanie's office for the interview then after a while Stephanie's secretary told him like "Stephanie just finished reviewing your resume and you don't have enough writing experience. She won't be seeing you today."

I have read it cover to cover.
It's really good, at least to me. Since some stuff may be a little fibbed, it really is a good read with how he passionate he was about the business. Seems like Kevin Dunn really didnt care for him much at all.
I wont ruin it for anybody, but I was surprised with who told him they were not going to renew his contract, as I had no idea this person was in talent relations.

Haven't heard this story. Can you elaborate? Essentially, Justin did all the ground work, got Connor and his father involved and brought them to events, only to have WWE go with Daniel Bryan and have him seem like he was really involved with Connor. According to Roberts, Daniel had essentially zero contact with Connor and his family outside of WWE events, while Justin would routinely call them and check in.

They totally turned this into a feel good story and a charity they could make money from.

Makes me respect a guy like Cena who is truly doing it for good purposes

When I went to MITB 2014, as we were walking up the stairs to the balconies in the TD Garden, this door in the wall (like a door you can't open, it can only be opened from the inside and is basically not visible because it's built into the wall) swings open and out comes Justin Roberts. Granted this is maybe 3 minutes before he has to be in the ring to start announcing. I saw him, and said hey. He briefly said, "HEY ENJOY THE SHOW GUYS, I'VE GOTTA RUN!" When we got up to our seats he was already in the ring.
Thats my favorite memory of the guy, and it won't be in his book, so I don't need to read it.
