I didn't initially intend to watch tonight, as I planned on taking a break for a couple weeks to recharge my wrestling batteries, so to speak. I like to do that every once in a great while when I'm feeling overly negative about the product. I've been really down on things since the shake up, and didn't enjoy Payback last night, so I thought it might be time.
After mulling it over today, I realized I might have been a little to hard on the show, so I figured I'd check in tonight and go from there.
I ended up being really glad I did. I thought it was a largely solid show, dragging less than an average Raw. Really liked the triple threat match, Alexa's promo, Dean's backstage interviews, and the Hardys/Sheamus & Cesaro stuff, in particular.

Great main event. We knew Rollins/Joe would continue, which is great, but I'm not that excited about Bray/Baylor and Ambrose/Miz. I've always loved Bray, but I'm done with him after WM and Payback. He's been booked to hell and will ultimately lose this feud as well.
Ambrose and Miz already feuded, so I'm not that interested in seeing them go again. Had Joe won last night I would have liked to have seen Ambrose/Joe for the IC Title and Rollins/Miz feud for a bit.

Miz has the softest offense I've ever seen. Nothing he does looks believable. Those corner dropkicks that mock Bryan are terrible I guess Miz is supposed to look bad and make anyone he works with look bad and weak. But he is a lock Hall of Famer because Vince said so. He is currently feuding with Cena, Daniel Bryan, Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and Finn. He is a joke of an entertainer, wouldn't even call him a wrestler.

Idc wat anyone says, Miz showed up tonight. Looked like he belonged with 2 of the best workers on the roster.

Great main event. Ambrose was gold last night. The Hardy's vs Sheamus/Cesaro is starting to get good. Women delivered. Aries & TJP was great. And the 6 man CW tag match was entertaining as well.
Do wish they'd stop making Enzo look weak. You can see what Vince has planned from a mile away and I do not like it.
Heath Slater deserves better. But I'm intrigued with Crews & Titus.
I know it's been said a million times, but the length of the show is the only real issue I have with RAW.
BTW, I would love nothing more than to see a heel Ambrose vs Balor. Last night intensified it. I need it in my life.

Decent RAW, Enjoyed Alexa's stuff, Seems they are turning Crews heel, and Miz proved that he can hang with Rollins, Balor, etc. All in all not a bad show IMO.

, Seems they are turning Crews heel. I think its gunna be more like Titus is gunna starting causing distractions that lead to Crews winning, he's a little uncomfortable about it but carries on. Then Titus will lead to physically getting involved and cheating for Crews, he will say its too much and will ultimately lead to the 2 of them feuding.

Raw wasn't too bad last night. Alexa has been killing it on the mic, running circles around the other women. She gets it in a way that the others just don't.
And Bayley's booty was on fire last night.
It still irks me that the World Title is barely ever mentioned or cared about. Why would all those guys suddenly settle being #1 contender for the IC title.

Alexa was awesome. A part of me questioned why the other competitors would not all just go after her, but you have to do a "because wrestling" moment to let Bayley push her over. Still though, great mic work, and she really feels like Queen Bee. I also liked that they let her get the win in the match as well and the way she got it was icing on the cake.
Hardyz and the Skirts were great. DELETE. I wish great heel managers were still around because Sheamus and Cesaro could take their act to the next level with a Jim Cornette type.
Loved all of Ambrose's stuff last night. His donut segment with Balor/the Drifter was funny. Be a lot cooler if Samson did play some PJ.
Main event match was great. That being said, I'm not particularly excited about any of the feuds that resulted from the ending. Miz vs Ambrose feels totally uninspired because of their history on Smackdown. Balor vs Bray should be good, in theory, with the Demon vs the Devil, but the Bray vs Orton stuff has really hurt Bray imo. Rollins vs Joe is fine. Feels like Joe needs a win back and that will go to a round three though.
They're doing a good job with TJP as a heel. I do hope Aries jumps out of 205 Live though if he's not going to win the CW Title.
Good Raw. I enjoyed the show mostly start to finish.

I really, really liked the way Finn Balor came off last night, and during Miz TV on Sunday. I've been a little worried about him since he came back, but man, he's really stepping into his swagger and looking like he belongs, despite his size. He's showing a ton of confidence in the way he carries himself and it's great.
I also can't get over how good Alexa Bliss has become as a character. I always thought there might be something there when she went heel in NXT, but it was always just brief flashes. Now, in less than a year, she's become the most complete, consistently entertaining female character on the roster, and one of the best promos in the company. What a story.

I knew Joe/Rollins would continue but was hoping Rollins would win so we could see a Dean heel turn. The story is right there. Dean was stabbed in the back and now is pissed that Seth is being welcomed as a hero after he drove his head though cinder blocks and made his and Romans lives hell.
They could use that to push a Dean/Roman feud later on as well.
But alas, we get another Dean/Miz feud.

I loved Dean basically calling Brock out for not showing up. Story wise though it makes sense since Brock is never around that they're going to go for the next best thing. While we know the IC Title means nothing now, the commentators still push it as a big achievement. And with guys like Dean, Seth, and Balor fighting over it, the title can hopefully seem important again.

Been fun watching Alexa develop and work her way "up" (I like NXT better than SD/RAW). I like that she's mean, but not obnoxious like KO. Also, I still don't see any balloons for our furious new women's champ! *with a Knockouts belt because why the hell not lol
