Scurll actually was in TNA back in like 2012, when they did the British Bootcamp thing. Though it was obviously before he got the Villian character going for himself. Ospreay also appeared on an episode of Impact like a year or two ago, and I think there were talks of him possibly signing, but he ended up going to New Japan. Yeah, but I want them there now. There is a lot of talent out there-- not in WWE-- but so much of it is scattered around that if they could bring it all to one place they could compete with WWE. And think, if GFW (or somewhere else) became a real threat to WWE to the point where people would consider leaving WWE to go there it'd make for a much better show overall and also could lure away some of those talents who say "I'm never leaving the company I'm in now" At one point, TNA had Hulk Hogan, Sting, Jeff Hardy, Ric Flair, AJ Styles, Bobby Roode, The Dudleys, and Kurt Angle under their employ at the same time. If they couldn't make a dent then, during one of the worst creative periods in WWE history, then they never will. Guys like Scurll and Ospreay, as good as they may be, aren't gonna attract the casual viewer. NJPW may be the one company or there right now that has a shot at competing with WWE, and both those guys already work there.
