So I've been looking forward to a classic Goldust for a while now. I was excited to see it announced then the proto pics looked great. I've seen two of these in person now and they both had the same issues. There are parts on the chest that aren't painted. The paint on the arms looks smeared. There's a huge divot in the left hand glove. This is the most excited I've been about a figure in a while and I've had to pass on both on them. Are these just random occurrences or have there been issues across the board with this one?

Mine came with a backwards boot with a frontwards facing foot. Only issue on mine with paint was they painted flesh tone on his outfit.

Mine was perfect. No paint issues at all.

The one I pre-ordered was missing paint on his chest but I managed to match it up perfectly with this metallic paint my wife had. I have seen him twice in retail. The first time it was a repacked Basic 14/67 and the second time the box was completely empty. Both at different wal-marts. I have heard of a few others having paint issues around the chest area as well.

Luckily mine didn't have these issues.

I noticed in a couple of shipments that Goldust was missing some chest paint. I checked 5 figures and they all had it missing in the chest, different places but still the middle.

Mine has weird paint chipping on his arse and lower back, other than that, perfect figure.

I have only seen Goldust once and Pillman twice at retail. My Goldust didn't have any paint issues, but his right elbow pin was pushed all the way through. So I had to fix that when I opened it. But other than that I had no issues or complaints with it.

I finally found a decent looking Goldust on the fourth attempt.

Back on topic - My Goldust was pretty much perfect, but its a figure I can easily imagine having issues.
