Has anyone ever done one of the summerslam meet and greets beforehand? I was wondering if anyone could shed some details on it. Is it worth the money? Did you enjoy the experience? Is it a long wait time? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

Yeah I did the meet and greet last year, it's like any meet and greet. The lines are usually going to be long, but it's worth it. I Met Orton, Ambrose and Rollins last year and they were all super chill. I would definitely do it as it's something really cool and gives you something to do during the SummerSlam Weekend.

I did the meet and greet in 2015. It was HHH, Seth, Finn and others. It was expensive at $253, and although I spent all of 10 seconds with them, it was a cool experience. However, I wouldn't do the individual meet and greets unless it were someone like Undertaker or HHH. The New Day meet and greet was cool but you may not be able to get all three together. If you live on the east coast, these wrestlers are always at Car shows for a lot less money. I just met Orton for $8, met Roman for $12. Their tickets would be at least $150 at SSLAM. Here's my experience meet HHH and Seth...

Or is it more like Axxess where you get a ticket to get in and you have regular meetings, but if you fork over a couple hundred you get a VIP to meet 1 or 2 wrestlers? With this event being in NY, I can convince my fiance to travel with me. She loves NYC. I'd only go if I could be guaranteed a meeting with Bliss.

It depends on what WWE offers this yr. It's not like Axxess at all. The amount of memorabilia they bring is very small. They don't offer any GA superstar meet and greets. You pay a VIP level price no matter who you meet. In 2015 they had individual signings and they had this NXT Panel event that was filmed for the Network. You could meet the panelist after the show. In 2016, the only group meet and greet was The New Day (if I remember correctly, the women may have been grouped together). In 2015, they also released a book detailing the Ultimate Warriors career. You could meet his Widow and get an autographed copy of the book as well for about $40.

I did it in 2015. Wasn't a huge fan of it. I met Paige, Becky, and Charlotte. They brought us into the Barclays and put us in line. There were some display things set up, but we were in a line with a velvet rope so we couldn't walk around.
The girls showed up about a half hour late then were taking their time with people early on. My brother and I had separate tickets, but we were forced to be in the same photo to save time. Then even worse, they put a border on the picture with a big Summerslam logo right over Paige's face.

Oh yeah I forgot about the photos. I think they improved them last yr but in 2015 the photos were trash. They printed out a hard copy but the photo was so overexposed.

There aren't any surprises. It's like WrestleCon, where you pay whatever to meet whomever.
