I'm kind of tired thinking about Owen Hart not being in the Hall of Fame. I feel like the kid in the (WWE) family that is waiting for the parents to solve their problems. It's one of those things were I think that it's on us (kids/fan) to help resolve this problem.
I just want it to be "us" the fans throw out ideas to try and get Owen Hart into the Hall of Fame. Then try and use one or a few of the ideas to get a petition or a movement going. How can we make this happen?
(Yes we all know that Martha has the rights to Owen Hart's estate and her and WWE have had issues in the past)

We can't. It won't happen. And it doesn't make his career mean any less.
Besides most marks complain the Hall Of Fame means nothing because the inclusion of certain wrestlers so I don't see why they are so upset he won't be in it.

Martha won't budge. She doesn't want WWE to make any money if of wwe. If Owen would go in it would be a huge money grab for them as it would be their big star for the year. I also don't think Martha wants anything remotely close to do with Vince. They have been to court rightfully so many times over the years. I don't think any amount of fan petition or anything else will work

It ultimately comes down to his widow. Wwe wants to induct him but it's her choice at the endnote of the day.

HHH is going to need to employ some very great Lobotomy power to heal the relationship between WWE and Martha for this to happen, even though Owen deserves it.

It won't happen until Martha passes, and even then her kids could reject it as well. Bret has also apparently tried reaching out to her over the years but to no avail.
I can't blame them one bit. Owen died performing a stunt directed by Vince. A stunt that Owen didn't want to do. It was a tragic event and we should respect the wishes of his family.

Pretty much what's been said. Martha would have to pass away, and with all the things she has (justifiably) said to her children, they may still say no. Bret and the other family members have tried over and over and over again, but she's not budging.

There are 2 sides to this. Martha lost her husband in a dangerous accident so you can understand her hatred for the WWE.
However Owen loved wrestling and deserves to be in the HOF and deep down its something he would want.
Also Marths children may feel the very same as she does. Do they even have any contact with the Hart family?

I suggest we march to WWE HQ and sing a hot Island song to melt Vince's icey heart and then nicely ask him to put Owen in the HOF.

She has allowed him to be in other wrestling games, but when it comes to WWE, she has and still says no! She tried suing WWE 2 years ago, when they released the Owen DVD. |

I'm sorry, but like others said, if Bret couldn't change Martha's views, i seriously doubt us fans will. No amount of support that wrestling fans give will change her mind. HHH, who mend fences with Bruno, Warrior, Savage, i doubt could change her view. She lost her husband to this business because of a stunt that didnt need to happen. I would love for Owen to be in the Hall of Fame, but I doubt it will happen as long as Martha is alive. The kids probably will be easier to convince after she's gone. |

Induct the Hart Foundation without officially naming him as an inductee. It may not be official but it will be known he's in there with Bret, Anvil, Pillman, and Bulldog. Bret and Anvil will be the ones to accept and if they wanna mention Owen in their speeches, WWE will not prevent them from doing so.
