it just bothers me this set isnt going to be sold...like, whats the point of making all this stuff if you cant distribute it somewhere? why not try to sell it to other places? They are. And those other places are called Australia. |

If I walked into Walmart today and saw this set I wouldn't buy it. Only figure that's somewhat appealing is Waltman but I wouldn't just buy him to stop someone from building Gene. Good guy right here. I wouldn't be as considerate when it comes to X-Pac, but I guess I won't have to worry about that now. No way I'm paying anything close to $100 for this set. If it had made it to Walmart stores here in the U.S., this set would have warmed hard and/or been on clearance. |

That double chin on mean gene! Man, I hate how we have to buy all these figures (of guys I never want) just to build one guy. I also don't have any walmarts either which make things worse :/

I really hope this makes its way to the USA is some form. It is really going to bother me that Mean Gene is released but not in my collection. I was watching the listing on Ebay that sold for over $300, but I am not dropping that to get it.

Jakks Mean Gene looks better tbh.. Jakks made him look fat and got his nose wrong. Mattel has a better likeness but I will give jakks the nod for availability  |

Scale wise Jakks is crap compared to Mattel but if it was in scale to Mattel it would like better tbh. Mattel Mean gene head is to oval shaped and Jakks is a little more round. Prefer the roundless in the scan..

Very good head sculpt and I love the classic outfit. Still though, the Toybiz Mean Gene from the WCW line still has this one beat imo.
