Once or even if ever the switch version gets updated to resemble a functioning game then I will get it but I’m not holding out any hope tbh.

For some reason it feels like a chore to play this anymore. Patiently awaiting the Hardys and Beth Phoenix DLC to spice it up a bit.

And when his buddies come over they play different games. I think this game is a dud. My son and I bought the Cenanuff edition and have probably logged 15 hours total on the game. They need to do a major overhaul of the entire game. It's not fun at all. This may be the last WWE game I pre-order. I've preordered all the 2k games, and SDvRAW, and Smackdown games (as far as pre orders) and gone back to NES games, and putting countless amount of quarters in at the pizza place for the wrestlemania game.

I played a bit last night. Universe mode. I'm playing at my Judgement Day PPV and made it halfway through my card. I think they need to just really work on helping the characters feel more like the characters. It's almost too easy to beat up Big Show. You know? That's just one idea. But I agree about the overhaul. At least with the Showcase mode it felt like you had to accomplish some stuff. I really wish they'd bring that back in a big, bad way next year. I think they missed the mark with the Austin showcase. Keep it simple like in 2k15, and focus on one feud and give us a few of them. We could get Lesnar/Angle, Hardy Boyz and E&C (& possibly Dudleyz), and give us Daniel Bryan vs. The Authority. I also think it'd be really interesting if they also included a "what if?" mode. Give us those angles, but then depending on who you play as, we get an "alternate timeline" type story that has ripple effects through out the WWE. There are TONS of possibilities there. But I fear that 2k just churns these games out once a year and doesn't put as much thought into them as they should because they know people will still buy em every year. (I'm guilty of this.)

you can't exactly blame 2K for some parts of the Switch port of the game, Nintendo's game systems are not exactly the most powerful in regards to hardware limitations, (the WII versions of Smackdown vs Raw comes to mind) the only time where they had a beefy system was the Gamecube, that did rather poorly in comparison to the other consoles at the time
but to me, i'll just wait til the PC version is released and get it from there

I like the game, but I wish there was a 2k Showcase mode though.

Enduring Icons pack is out on the 16th.
I can't wait to bring in The Hardys and Beth to my Universe.

I'm too lazy to put the game in and check. Can someone quote me and let me know when the Road to Glory for January starts?

Woo! The Enduring Icons pack has FINALLY been released on Steam, around 9:15PM. It really shouldn't have taken almost an entire day.

I only got a chance to play one match. Jeff vs. Matt. It was fun!
Kinda disappointed Jeff's armbands aren't available. I feel like if 2k just put a bit more effort into their characters since they were DLC, they should have had a second "Team X-Treme" set of characters. Or at the very least, a second attire.
I dunno. Maybe I just expect too much. Hopefully next year.
