i would've taken a different approach with Sampson.... have him legitimately dominate these jobbers, but get himself DQ'ed in the process. Like that back-against-the-ringpost thing he was doing looked ing BRUTAL. Have him come out and literally say it's not about winning matches, it's about hurting people. You over-sell it in a few weeks by having guys taken out on stretchers, chit like that. Now you've built up a guy in a different way instead of "heel dominates and beats jobbers"....now you have whoever they want him to feud with come in and try to stop him, but the strategy changes because you know the guy is willing to sacrifice a win to hurt you....so you need to figure out a different way of beating him and don't let him catch you in that submission or any other kind of brutal looking thing outside the ring His gimmick is that he's a "drifter"....meaning he's willing to inflict pain anywhere, not just inside the ring |
