If you're talking about Lacazette's, it was offside just about. Two wins from two for us, great start even if the performance today was terribly going forward. Had it been anyone but Arsenal, that would have been a goal. I don't genuinely believe in conspiracies, but Arsenal make me wonder. Had it been Pogba or Lukaku with a toe offside, goal given, of course. That bloke Robson-Kanu isn't the brightest, is he? Stupid red that. Yeah it was definitely a bit unlucky, if that had been given as a goal don't think anyone would have battled an eye. Robson-Kanu scored us the goal and we held on for the win so I forgive him! And yeah, Man Utd looking impressive so far. Didn't think they would click this quickly. Swansea and West Ham's collapses were pathetic though. Tougher tests lay ahead but they should at least be in title contention this year.

Happy as a United fan atm! Matic has been an amazing signing, not just for his own abilities, but he has relieved Pogba of his DM role and allowed him to roam free and become his best, as evident from the last two games. Mkhitaryan with 4 assists already is brilliant as well! Martial doing bits in the short time he has and Lukaku settling well. Just wait and see how he does against the 'big' teams. Unbelievable start to the season for United! If you look at last season, they're just playing with a lot more confidence and simply putting away the chances. You could tell last year that with such a strong defence, it was just a matter of time before everything clicked going forward and that's what we're seeing in these first two games. Matic has been immense as well as the others you mention. I must say out of them all, it's great to see Martial start to deliver as he has a really high ceiling in terms of how good he can be, I feel. He was Henry'esque with his goal yesterday. Leicester will be tougher next week, but the team are starting to play now.

I got Utd at 7/2 to win the league, starting to look like value! Couldnt believe they were as big as that when you consider how good mourinho gets his teams in the second season.

Yeah, they are looking very good. It's still very early in the season though and I remember United winning their first 3 league last season and still being a hundred miles away from the title by Christmas. They are playing with confidence though and if they can keep putting out a consistent team every week and keep playing until the last minute like they are now, they're definitely a strong favourite for the title.

Mate, trust me Utd will win the league this year, Mourinho is different gravy. He just gets the job done, even though Utd only finished 6th last season, if you watched their games I dont know how many great chances they missed, if they had of took those they would have been easily challenging Chelsea. I dont believe the hype with Conte, either. When they went to Old Trafford last season and got beat (2-0 I think?) Conte didnt have a clue what to do, he stood on the sidelines puzzled.

Lump on Utd, put the mortgage on them, come the end of the season, load the donkeys up with satchels and go collect!

I watched every United game last season and haven't missed many in the past 20 years! The amount of draws that should have been comfortable wins last season was crazy, I've never seen anything like it with Pogba hitting the woodwork literally every week. Half those draws as wins and we're challenging Chelsea. The Europa League matches and the amount of games we had in quick succession made it near on impossible to challenge the top 3, also. Anyway, yeah, the Chelsea game last year was a masterclass by Mourinho and Conte only has Plan A. They're already looking suspect this year and I can actually see him walking by Christmas if they're out of the race by then. A huge game today against Spurs, lose that and they are almost out of the race after 2 games! It's Man City and to a lesser extent, Tottenham, who worry me.

Delighted by the start to the season for United, not just the team's performances but the early slips from Arsenal, Spurs and Chelsea (and Liverpool if you're feeling charitable) are mostly unexpected bonuses. However whilst West Ham and Swansea have been annoying opponents for United over recent years, they really weren't that much use in terms of judging this United side - Leicester will be a very different challenge.

2 games in and journalists are already talking about United going invincible this season. English media is a funny thing. Nicking a living that lot. I genuinely believe that in my lifetime, no other team will go all 38 games unbeaten again.

Absolutely; classic case of building someone up so they can later tear them down - the fact that they can do it this time with United is even better for them given the unmatched profile of the club; easy attention = easy money in that game.

Wayne Roney has just become only the second ever player to score 200 Premier League goals. Exceptional achievement.

I enjoy a Man City meltdown every once in a while. Agreed! Red was a little harsh but then that seems to be the game it's becoming, unfortunately.

Any elbows to the head should be straight reds, this one didn't connect but you could see intent from Walker. Head injuries aren't to mess with. So much bad crapcan happen. So, for me, head injuries should be properly punished.

Two points dropped for City at least - would've taken that at kick-off. Koeman saying he still wants to spend more money

Pep does seem to feel like he is the chosen one, it's a bit cringe. I can see Everton spending more! They will be close this season but whether they make top 4 or not, I don't know.

Between Pep, Conte and Klopp, the league is really filled with some odd characters on the sidelines these days And that's without mentioning Rafa

I agree mate, Guardiola's a jabroni. Alright he's won leagues with Barce and Bayern whoopi doo, my granny could manage both of them to win the league, Juventud Guerrero could manage them and win leagues. He's another one in a long list of managers that will meet their demise in the premier league where they all get found out. When he starts doing trebles with Inter Milan and winning champions league trophies with Porto then ill toast to him but until then hes a nobody, a peon, a blemish on Mourinho's buttocks as the Rock would say. Woooooooooooooooo, Utd's going to win the league! Can you smell it?
