I was wondering if any of you guys have had any issues with ringside collectibles and their shipping method. So I ordered 3 figures last week: Scott Hall, Enzo and Big Cass. The packaging for all three figures came damaged. Considering the fact that one has to pay shipping and tax you would expect decent packaging (bubble wrap or peanuts) to protect the integrity of the items. So I contacted them and they told me that I have to return the items to them out of pocket ( no return label was provided) and then they will send me the same items but if I want for $2 extra per item they can "premium package them" I expect this from Amazon in terms of damaged packaging because they are a huge facility and don't really cater to collectors as does ringside considering they sell autographed memorabilia and exclusives. At least in my personal experience with Amazon they either let u keep damaged items and refund you the money spent or they resend the same items and upon their arrival request that you return the damaged items.

I've never once had an issue with Ringside and their shipping. And I've been ordering from them for years now. If anything I would say Ringside is the best when it comes to figures. Best at availability, best at shipping, and often times best at price.

That doesn't happen often or at all. (I'm a loose collector) Out of all the years I've ordered from Ringside I haven't received a shipping where the boxes were crushed or damaged. They made one mistake where they sent me the wrong figure that one time but they were very accommodating to the mistake and fixed it.
So don't start thinking Ringside causes these problems it probably a one off thing.

Ringside has always hooked me up with great looking figures with good paint jobs. They screwed up a order once but I actually prefer to buy from them even if it's a couple bucks more.

Gonna say this before this gets locked/deleted:
RSC charges for shipping because shipping is not free. They charge taxes because the federal government requires it. If you want to ensure your package is in mint condition and the figure inside is pristine with no QC errors then buy it at a brick and mortar store so you can examine the product before you purchase it. Otherwise collect loose or expect that sometimes you may get a beat up box.

So don't start thinking Ringside causes these problems it probably a one off thing. I think the OP is confusing USPS or UPS or who ever the shipper was for RSC. RSC can ship you mint boxes all day long but if that shipper is reckless in handling packages it wont matter.

We ship thousands of orders every single month and receive almost zero damaged packaging complaints. In the past month we've received less than 8 damage complaints which tells me 99.999% of our customers are satisfied.
If in the slim chance your package is damaged, in most cases our customer service will gladly exchange it for a replacement and send you a pre-paid return shipping label.
If a figure arrives to our warehouse from Mattel damaged, we put it to the side and sell it as damaged packaging for a reduced price. If you look at our site we frequently list damaged packaging items when they pop up.
There seems to be some confusion with our Premium Packaging Service. This service is for the few super hardcore mint collectors and includes us searching through multiple cases of figures to find the most pristine possible packaging. This can take 5-10 minutes of searching per figure. This does not mean if you don't use this service your package will be damaged. There seems to be a couple of people on the boards who love to take shots at us and incorrectly state if you don't buy the PPS your figures will arrive damaged. This is not true at all and a complete misunderstanding of the PPS service. All figures leave our warehouse mint unless they are advertised as damaged packaging.
To the original poster nwo4lyfe, our customer service manager says he offered to send you a pre-paid UPS return label for the exchange and you refused it and he also offered you a full refund if you wanted to return them but you wanted to keep the figures. If you change your mind and would like to do the exchange or return please let us know.
