Unbelievable, thanks for sharing the high quality pics.
Wow, I wish they put that much love into figures nowadays.

Wish I had a high quality version of this picture but I luckily stumbled across Galoob's sales Catalog from 1991. As you can see the Rick Steiner I have is pictured here. Even cooler...the imperfections, missing spots on my figures tattoo matches the one in the photo, so the figure I have is the exact one displayed by Galoob. Do you guys think these figures are one of a kind?

I would LOVE those. Sadly, we had a discussion and he has parted with all of his nearly all of his Galoob prototypes, including those already. I believe he still has a large Ric Flair and a regular american release Rick Steiner left.

Guessing he sold it all off to privately to collectors that he knew?

Amazing figures - well done! I do think it's highly unlikely these are the only ones out there. Taking into account photo shoots, toy shows and TV commercials it would be weird if they only had one figure. What if it got broken or damaged during any of those? they'd always have others. Here are the reference photo's used for those two figures showing the original attires:

Awesome stuff, love these WCW Galoobs and the prototypes are so cool with the detail and congrats to you for getting those. Thanks for posting the pics and I really love the Roos logo from that shoe deal on Rick Steiner prototype.
