I would love to get the Mania 8 Jake with the naked woman with the snake around her tights. I wonder if WWE would be cool for that as a online exclusive or something like that.

I was quite surprised WWE allowed The Godfather gimmick to be made. I'm glad they did though Why? They literally just put him in the Hall of Fame as The Godfather... Because these are toys often targeted at children.

Mattel proposes the attire and wrestler, WWE approves or vetos. Like Hollywood Hogan for example. Hopefully we get that one soon.

But do they have anyone running around selling his ho's to other people and getting promoted as a good guy for doing it? I think not lol. It's almost unbelievable that this gimmick was made into a kid's toy when you think about it.

Don't forget, there was a third coat for Nakamura. The one we saw in the pics of the prototype. But WWE said "no" because it hadn't appeared on NXT TV at the time. It was only something he wore while still in Japan. So obviously WWE gets say in the final product.

WWE sends them photos of the wrestlers and the material needed to get the right look. WWE also has the ultimate say in anything that is released with their trademarks like most major companies. Why is this even a question??

Didn't WWE ask Mattel to cancel/pull a certain E1 figure...?

WWE can say whatever they want whenever they want, Mattel wouldn't have any good reason to piss them off over something like a figure attire.
But WWE probably says little to nothing 99% of the time because they're just like "looks cool, keep up the good work."

I would think wwe has say in everything wwe related. I've been exchanging messages with Jada Metals over why we haven't seen the WWE legends for sale yet that there's pictures of. They said WWE has final say and while Jaffa pitched the idea of classic and current stars WWE only want to release the current stars for the time being While the relationship with Mattel is better and longer I would think the same applies where ideas and prototypes are pitched and WWE has final say

WWE/WWF has too many things in their past that they try to hide, so I know they have the final say on what gets made. Look no further than the brightest star, Hulk Hogan. WWE was so petty they tried to erase Hogan from it's history.

It was only something he wore while still in Japan. So obviously WWE gets say in the final product. WWE/Mattel couldn't make it because it wasn't worn in any promotion they own at the time. For example, they can make a WCW AJ Styles but they can't make a TNA one even though they're almost exactly the same. TNA & WWE both made RVD figures of the singlet with the blue/green dragon because he wore it in both companies, thus allowing them to produce it. The funny part about Nak is that he wore the jacket on the very next Takeover but it was too late to add it back (according to Bill, at least)
