I just hope all six release at the same time this time, and they evenly pack each guy. My Walmart still has Cenas and Lesnars warming the pegs with probably no more to come in unless those sell.

Freaking Awesome. (Though I'll admit I don't get Mankind's missing sleeves.) Might be a nod to the Jakks Titan Tron Live figures, where Mankind was also presented as sleeveless. I assume the real reason is so they don't have to tool a complete set of arms they can only use once when they can get away with just using the normal upper arms for that action, and doing the mandible claw lower arm.

Has anybody noticed Rock has elbow pads but in the other pictures (including the mini pic on the card) he does not have elbow pads? What's going on there?

Late change with the production I'm guessing. Glad they added them. I wish they added Kane's belt too. I'm guessing they didn't because the belt would be where he twists.

The more I look at these, the more I kind of wish Rock would have had the twisting punch feature: That body type mimics the action of the Rock Bottom more closely, plus it could also be used for the People's Elbow. It would have been a 2 for 1. But giving him the bodyslam action and calling it the Rock Bottom is a bit lazy.

I really like all 6. If I could nitpick something, it would be:
1. Kane needs a belt.
2. I think Austin would have looked bad ass with a vest.

(It's a little thing, but it breaks up the red) -Rock needs the twisting punch feature. (Already posted my thoughts on this above) -Triple H shouldn't be a jumper. (It just doesn't fit him) -Mankind needs sleeves. (I would even accept painted on sleeves just to make it match up) -Austin should have had the vest. (If they can leave hats on Taker and Cena, they could put the vest on Austin) -Sting is actually the closest to perfect figure in the wave if you can live with the jumping feature. My nitpick there would be that I would have preferred Surfer Sting.

I was looking forward to seeing the Rock figure the most, and am a bit disappointed with it to be honest. The action chosen just doesn't make sense - I don't recall seeing him readily perform a press slam.

I'm wondering how easy these would be to customise, as the Rock and Stone Cold figures could potentially be mashed together to get the desire action for Rock...

My first post here, so "Hi"... but, yeah, aside from hate hate hate hating!!! the jumping action on Sting (and HHH of course) I couldn't agree with you more. I was so looking forward to this second series and now with the exception of Rock and Stone Cold, which I'm getting on day one (crosses fingers) and maybe Kane (why no belt, Mattel?) the rest is kinda meh.
Will I buy them all eventually... probably, but I'm just not feeling this second series as much as the first.
Here's hoping third times the charm... peace.

Hope the Sting will actually be released this time, they were going to do a metals Sting but it still hasn't been released yet and it's a shame they gave Triple H and Sting closed legs but hopefully you can swap their heads with the figures that have normal legs

These are looking better and better every time I see them.
The funny thing about this line is that even the mistakes or head scratching decisions fall in line with the original Hasbro run. It's almost like they found some weird toy nexus where they can do no wrong in my book.
it's part of the charm with this cartoonish and exaggerated style of sculpt. When they do add extra details, it's certainly appreciated, but not necessary to capture the essence of this format.

Welcome. Nothing there is going to stop me from getting them to be honest. I said from the start that I was all in on the Retro line and I stand by it. That being said, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't just a bit disappointed by the second series. That's a bit odd when I think about it because I like the wrestlers being offered a lot more in this set than I did those in the first.

I'll probably get the whole set but it was a big letdown to me.
It's cool to do Rock/Cena, Austin vs. Bret/Shawn, Kane vs. Taker, HHH vs. Warrior....but are these better choices than figures that actually go with the first series or the old figures?
I thought at least if they were gonna do this set all Attitude Era we'd see different scratchy logo packaging.
This series could have been the one rumored for Series 3 (good mix of retro and modern, like series 1), even mixing some Attitude Era and WCW in and it would have been so much better.
I also didn't think compared to Series 1 they put as much work in. Those heads look too modern for my liking and the actions/attires aren't anything special.
Still, even if they put out less and less exciting series, we are bound to get some awesome figures we've been waiting for and maybe even a playset, so I can't help but support more, more, more!
