You wouldn't consider the WrestleMania 32 Triple Threat to be a great match? I wouldn't bother. If it isn't old school style booking or wrestlers, this guy usually craps on it. Charlotte/Becky/Sasha at WrestleMania was great and up there as a possible MOTN. Or maybe its just I don't have to like stuff that other people like?? I thought AJ Styles vs. John Cena at the Royal Rumble was awesome. I liked Ambrose vs. Styles at TLC. I enjoyed Rollins vs. Owens at HIAC last year. I however, did not enjoy the triple threat women's title match at WM 32. I thought Styles vs. Jericho, and the ladder match for the IC Title that night were the true MOTN matches. But I am so glad that you know what I like in wrestling.

Bayleys loveable, hugable character was never going to work on the main roster. We all know that. The best thing for Bayley is it keep letting her frustration build up where being the "nice girl" doesnt get her anywhere and then doing a heel change.
In the same instance, if Alexa continues to get positive crowd reactions they can look to eventually moving her to a face/tweener face.

I say no on the heel turn. But I wouldn't mind an edge added to her character. Either way, it seems like a lot of you don't really give a . Which says a lot about her booking.

Bayley doesn't possess the charisma, confidence, presence - and above all, the mic skills to work as a heel. Not that I give a sh*t either way, but heel Bayley would be a total disaster.

It seems that the women's division on raw is the problem in general minus Alexa and Nia.
Everyone else seems to be kind of flopping around every week. Look at what's happened to Bayley, Sasha banks (rich Swann valet), and even Mickie James to an extent. Dana Brooke never really got anything past charlotte. Theres just so much wasted potential and plot I feel that could easily be there.
Like Mickie James for example, how does she go from being asukas main ppv opponent in nxt, to a major player on smack down, to basically in the background on raw?

Make it Bayley vs. Maryse with the man being Miz. They kiss WM20 style.

I just wanna know how its believable that an almost 30 year old attractive woman has never been kissed unless it was her choice. This is some Drew Barrymore ish.

I honestly believe that Vince trolls HHH. Think about it, HHH builds these huge stars that are destined to be the future while Vince takes great pleasure in slowly dismantling them. funny thing is Triple H and Vince had an argument about this type of situation

These characters are not working simply because of the horrible writing and creative "backing" them. There is no reason that Bayley's loveable character couldn't work on the main roster just because loveable doesn't work. That makes no sense. It is because they do not know how to work with her character. The same goes for Sami. The writing is abysmal. He does not need a heel turn now just to "save" him.

The same writers who have gotten 2 NXT afterthought females (Alexa & Carmella) more over then the "big 4"? The same writers that can take Sasha Banks from a title contender to extra on 205 live back to a title contender in the matter of a month? Here's the Budweiser cold hard fact. Bayley isnt connecting with the fans. Its not the writers, its not the fans, its her and her shtick that nobody cares about. Nobody cares that Bayley went to wrestling events as a kid. Nobody cares about Bayley hugs or hair ties. Nobody cares about inflatable Bayley buddies. Bayley has all the in ring talent in the world. Nobody can deny that but if your character doesnt connect to fans then the fans arent going to care about you. This isnt NXT any more. You're not in front of an audience of 1000 people who will eat up any garbage that you throw at them. Bayley NEEDS a change! She needs a drastic change. She needs to completely reinvent her character. There's only 2 ways to do this. 1st is to turn heel and the 2nd is to go back to NXT to redevelop a new face shtick and hope you dont get forgotten about and/or lost in the shuffle.

Go to a live show and just look at all the people in Bayley gear. Its not your demographic, but you cant deny she is popular. She can be their female Cena that gives dads bringing little girls to shows a role model. Instead of just dealing with bitchy swimsuit models.

Im not saying dont be a Bayley fan. By all means like who you like. But if you can only make a connection to section 104 and not the entire arena then you're not going to get far. This isnt NXT anymore where you're in front of a few hundred people who will eat up anything any wrestler will do. You have to do something to swing the careless fans to care about you in one way or another. With other women like Sasha, Charlotte, Alexa, Naomi etc...the fans either like them or they dont like them. They either want to see them win or lose. In wrestling to get to that extra level it needs to be a black & white connection with the fans. If there's a grey area then that's when the fans dont care. You can have 20% of the most rabid fans but if the other 80% are sitting on their hands, taking a piss break or are just completely disinterested, then you're not going to hit that next level.

This isnt NXT anymore where you're in front of a few hundred people who will eat up anything any wrestler will do. I think you hit a very large nail right on the head. Bayley was over huge for the NXT crowds but for the most part that was the same few hundred people who attended every NXT show and, if we're being honest, lap up everything that is paraded in front of them like a pack of Pavlov's dogs drooling every time Triple H rings his bell. Sure, the Takeover crowds are bigger and more diverse but they are still composed of mainly hardcore NXT fans who watch the show on the network and are by extension a part of that canned NXT audience. Throw the same wrestlers in front of the constantly changing and not so hardcore fans of the main roster product and the NXT call ups become very hit or miss. Bayley is proving to be a miss with the larger fickle WWE crowd than she was with the smaller loyal NXT crowds. Some of it is due to booking but some of it is due to her character not really having any substance and thus not catching on. For every little girl who wants a hug and bracelet, there a lot of adults who just don't care. Its the exact opposite of what happened with Alexa Bliss. She was called up to much less fanfare than Bayley but thanks to better booking and doing a great job portraying her character (and actually having a character), she caught fire. Bayley isn't damaged goods yet, not in that Dolph Ziggler way, but she could benefit from a break and some repackaging.

I guess im just confused. I see a connection with her and fans. Ive seen people criticize her promos, but listen to Stone Colds podcast with her and she says shes horrible and he says shes not. Try and argue about promos with Austin 3:16? Im good on that. I guess we just see it opposite ways. You cant win over the whole audience when most are misogynistic "women are piss break matches and nothing will change that." I see people in their RAW or SD threads here summarize whole shows minus women segments. She exists for a demographic, which is young girls and guys like me and TRW. Id like to know why people like Bliss so much. In ring she is mediocre, so it boils down to she plays a good bitch, and shes "hot" which is subjective. Theyre all hot. So shes proficient at best, but not amazing.

WHAT IS ALEXAS CHARACTER??? She wears skeleton hand jewelry? Shes short and angry? Alexa is the mean girl - at times a bitch, bully, manipulator, and chicken. The way she navigates through all the aspects of being a mean girl is what makes her character so good to me. Yeah she looks good but personally that has nothing to do with me being a fan of her as a wrestler. Kelly Kelly looked great too but that wasn't enough to make me a fan of hers. What is Bayley's character? She's the fan girl who made it to the big time? BFD. You made it. Congratulations. I'm bored with it. At least in NXT (when I was a big fan of hers) she had the cinderella story of chasing the title. Her in ring work is as good as if not better than most of the women but that isn't enough. She fluctuates between boring and annoying ever since her call up.

Id like to know why people like Bliss so much. In ring she is mediocre, so it boils down to she plays a good bitch, and shes "hot" which is subjective. Theyre all hot. So shes proficient at best, but not amazing. Ive never particularly cared for Bayley on the mic. Like I said in a previous post her ring work is top notch. She's without a question one of the better female workers on the WWE. I dont *hate* Bayley but at the same time I dont *like* her either. Im one of those, like many that are sitting in a grey area waiting for her to win me over one way or another. Now Im not gonna lie, I started liking Alexa in NXT because she's hot. Im a guy, I cant help that. I like short girls, I like blondes...I like big butts and I cannot lie! Ive continued & furthered my support of her because she supports a good friend of mine that helps with some of her ring gear. As for her in the ring She has pretty good mic skills. She's not Dusty Rhodes but she's not Roman Reigns either. I dont expect Bliss to be a ring general. She literally had her first match 4 years ago whereas someone more polished like Bayley has been in the ring for nearly 10 years. However, Bliss has gotten that connection with the fans. Her fans love her. But the fans that dont like her arent "indifferent" they cant stand her for whatever reason. Go hop on a Sasha Banks fan page somewhere on social media and all you'll see it people just trashing Bliss. They're welcome to their opinion but Bliss is still getting a reaction. Ive literally seen social media pages explode in arguments when Bliss wins matches. Ive been waiting for a proper Bliss-Banks feud because it will drag both fans bases into it b/c for whatever reason they're always at each others throats in comments sections. I will say I dont hate Banks though. I dont find her attractive like most but thats neither here nor there. I cant remember what wrestler made the comment but it was along the lines of it doesnt matter if the fans cheer or boo you as long as they're doing one of the other. I enjoy Bayley's work and want to see her be successful. I dont want her to fall into a situation like Natalya where she's a great worker but just cant connect with fans so she's used to build up and carry lesser talent. WHAT IS ALEXAS CHARACTER??? She wears skeleton hand jewelry? Shes short and angry? Alexa is the mean girl - at times a bitch, bully, manipulator, and chicken. She fluctuates between boring and annoying ever since her call up. That's absolutely something that has killed her. Once she lost that Cinderella story she started slipping. The underachiever, the nerdy girl who was just a fan chasing a dream...That kind of shtick is what pulls fans in. You get to the point where you want to see her "grab the brass ring" or you get so sick and tired of it where you love watching her fail time and time again. Once she became NXT champion and then Raw Champion it just became like...ok what now??

off, I'm absolutley blaming the writers. There is absolutely zero reason Bayley shouldn't be a ing merch machine and one of the hottest babyfaces on the roster. To me this is just another case of them not using what worked in NXT that got the person in question over in the first place.
