Vince Russo took out a restraining order against Jim Cornette. Jim freaking Cornette! They got into some back and forth on their respective podcasts, and Cornette and Eric Bischoff has some things to say about Vince on Table For Three that he really didn't like that escalated things. So Jim Cornette offered to fight Little Vinny and he ran to the courts and got an order of protection.
This is 1,000% real. Cornette just posted a video about this with a picture of the order and he's going to start selling autographed copies next week.

Someone who clearly has anger management issues pretty consistently threatens your life for almost 20 years, and getting a restraining order against that person makes you not a man? Yes we can assume that Cornette wouldn't actually go out of his way to kill Russo, but have you seen that Dairy Queen video? Cornette is a lunatic. Just about a year ago I remember him telling a story about how his wife got into a minor car accident in a Walmart parking lot and he went there and basically had to be restrained.
Maybe Russo really was fearful. Maybe some recent comments really struck a nerve with Russo or maybe there was a private conversation we don't know about.
I agree that Russo can be an idiot at times, but a lot of people on here seem to just have a blanket hatred for him seemingly because the Internet says you must hate Russo. Take it on a case by case basis.

I honestly dont see Cornette going out of his way to really go to his home to beat Russo up. I dont think hes that dumb. The restraining order is dumb IMO. Nothing was really gonna happen. Oh BTW, about the Cornette having to be restrained from that guy who caused his wifes minor car accident, he only reacted when the driver was a prick to his wife screaming at him and her, which i dont blame Cornette for doing. I get that Cornette and Bischoff talked about Russo, but i feel Russo made the thing ten times worse. Russo HAD to know that Cornette was going to react to his "apology". Russo was looking for attention, like always, and this restraining order is too far. If Cornette wanted to really kill him, he'd done it A LONG TIME AGO, as this feud started 18 years ago. So Cornette had 18 years to do something to Russo if he really hated the guy as passionately as Cornette makes it feel. BTW, I dont hate Russo despite his mostly s***ty booking, gotta give him credit for the few good storylines he created. This whole thing went out of control, and Russo IMO should not have given Cornette and Bischoff, and apparently Bruce Prichard too, the time of day when they talked about him. I guess now he truly put a temporary stop to it now lol

I locked the last one and I am locking this one as it isn't anything to do with classic wrestling. This is a modern issues from two guys who can't let 20 years ago end.
