Just put them in a lot on craigslist or ebay. Someone will be hyped to get a deal and youll be hyped to get them off your hands. Cut your losses. Sell ones individually that fetch above MSRP. These threads are depressing. Can you people quietly quit the hobby and not drag the rest of us into it? We didnt buy you too many figures. You and your own addiction did that. Because I'm a sad, lonely human being that literally has no one in my physical life that understands my absolute obsession with professional wrestling or my deep seeded need for figures as a substitute for human companionship, but I recognize the ethical inconsistencies with my addiction and desperately want some form of advice. Blunt enough, for you?

I've come to the realization that no matter what I do, I still buy toys. I get this feeling of wanting to downsize, I do that, then I go out a buy new toys. Sometimes I do it because I want the toy and sometimes I do it because it's too good to pass up. Today I bought Toys R US WrestleMania BAF Bray Wyatt because he was clearance to $5.39... I bought the last 3 because it was too good to pass up. I didn't have to do that, but I felt like I did have to.

All of my collection is currently in mom mom's garage. I'm moving into my GF's house at the end of the summer & the topic of my collection came up. My big, master plan was that I'd hang onto everything until it was time to send a child to college to help pay for it. I know the value isn't great now, but I'm hoping 15-20 more years could change that. I don't think the Jakks figures from 15-20 years ago are putting anyone through college. With inflation, I don't see anyone paying $280 for heath slater figures in 2037

WWE figure collecting is not something your expected to make a lot of money back on. When collecting you have to figure that this figure is just for you, NOT to one day think how much can I get off this figure. Only a few figures go are RARE, for the simple fact that collectors love them so much that they don't part with them; so it makes one being sold hard to find.
I myself have cut down on figure. I love my collection but I have had figures that I didn't feel comfortable in my collection (Elites that look similar to each other, or a figure I bought off of hype and not because I cared for the wrestler/attire) All I did was pack those up and give them to a kid who is a WWE fan too. He ended up loving them because they were modern day wrestlers that he knew. He is going to enjoy playing with them (like I did as a kid) then me keeping them stored in a bin.

My collection is from 1983-2005, so it includes the Remco AWA's, LJN's, Galoobs, Hasbros, and Jakks.

Started selling off my Male Superstar collection a couple months ago, have earned over £300 thus far from them. I only started collecting Mattel figures in 2015, so trying to catch up is just too costly, especially when people jack the prices up of regular elites (I understand for special exclusives). Now I just focus on collecting Female Superstars, I already have at least one of each person, so I am caught up with them, I just have to buy them as they are released now, and with there being less female figures than males, my wallet can take a break.

I am currently selling a huge chick of my collection. Ibe fallen on some very hard times. A few years back I sold my entire jakks collection and took a huge liss on it but needed the money. Selling a collection is hard (at least for me) you put so much time and effort into finding these figures.
