I can't recall an occasion in recent memory that WWE has so actively and publicly discounted tickets. We all know they do a fair amount of papering, but this must be really bad.

It's hard to believe that tickets for this aren't selling well. It's a solid match card with a lot of star power. I wouldn't think twice about going.

Considering its a Smackdown exclusive PPV with a thin roster I'd say it was a pretty impressive card. Every match excluding the pre show has decent to good build and it's quite hard to choose a "piss break." If it was anywhere near me I wouldn't need discount tickets as incentive to go.

Honestly, if Royal Rumble tickets weren't most likely going on sale next Friday... I'd be snagging Battleground tickets.

This PPV will blow hard, this one especially seems sooooo predictable. Heres my guesses
Jinder Retains (They wont down Orton V. Jinder for 4th straight PPV) Lana #1 Contender - Just seems like thats where they are going, no one takes her serious til she wins AJ Retains - They won't play hot potato with the belt Usos Retain - They are hot rn Nakumara wins - Corbin can afford a loss, hes got the briefcase. Breezango will win, against I'm guessing Mojo and Ryder? Bennet will beat El Jobberco =/ Flag Match - Cena wins, lol.

Cant wait until people remember that the Punjabi Prison match sucks and Jinder/Orton are not good together. Last month they were saved by a ST Louis crowd that were obviously behind Orton.

I certainly disagree that this is a strong lineup. Aside from it being Cena's first Pay-Per-View since Wrestlemania, there's very little to draw people in. Styles/Owens will be good, but it's not like it's the first time they're facing off, and people are (rightfully) ticked off that they're fighting over the US Title while Jinder Mihal is holding the WWE title. Orton/Mahal is a cold feud with two cold characters, the latter of which has been a ratings disaster. Mahal is dragging Smackdown down, significantly.

I feel like Mahal is dropping the title on Sunday. It was a good experiment to test the waters but ratings aren't good so it's time to save the sinking ship before it's to late. He may get heat but that's only because he's facing Orton. When he's not in a match with Orton, the crowd could care less.

Vince has been known to dig his heels in when it comes to things the audience challenges him on, and I feel like Mahal may be one of those scenarios. Either way, I just don't see any viable opponents coming out of this match. If Mahal retains, he probably faces Cena, who is going to leave again. Doing another super quick title change would be pretty bad. If Orton wins, I have no idea who they even pair him with.

I don't think Corbin is quite ready to be champion yet BUT it would make kayfabe sense if he cashed in on whoever wins the punjabi prison match as they should be pretty beat up and at their most vulnerable.

No wonder theyre selling tickets at a discount, Corbin vs Nakamura is the only match that we havent seen before. Maybe not the womens match too but thats hardly ground breaking TV, PPV's are meant to be for the gold IMO not #1 contenders.
I'm seriously considering not bothering staying up til 4 am to watch this. Mahal vs Orton, I dont have any love for either of them really Mahal is more interesting though I'd like the title to go back to someone credible, but then again if Orton takes it back we're getting Orton vs Mahal for his rematch. either way the outcome sucks. I'm leaning towards Mahal winning to take on Cena at SS.
Talking of Cena, I'm not American nor Bulgarian so I dont really care who wins, as a foreigner I have no alligence with either team, and cant buy into either of their promo's
Uso's vs New Day was good last time but they're jsut gonna do a straight up re-match with no way of stopping thr Uso's from cheating? Okay guess we're gonna see more shenanigans from Uso's.
Corbin vs Nakamura should be good, both hard hitting guys, should make for a good match, but Nakamura has left me underwhelmed on more than one occasion. Naturally Corbin should be on a loosing streak now until he cashes in and wins the title, as per the usual formula.

I was just looking at this card and its so very meh I agree that SD is the better show.. but aside from this PPV I have looked forward to and have enjoyed SDs more. I feel like GBOF actually had some good matches that I enjoyed and didn't think I would but Raw as a whole (even though it has some enjoyable feuds) has been total garbage. Sadly I feel like SD is heading in that direction..

Cena is such a heavy favorite on the betting sites that one is saying it would be the biggest upset in pay per view history should Rusev win.

I want either Charlotte or Becky to win the women's match, but Nattie winning would be great as well.

Nobody is talking about Nattie to win this.
I say she wins tonight and at Summerfest for one more run
