Watched the finale just to see how this cluster bleep of a season ended. I laughed so hard when Paul lost. The look on his face was priceless.
To be honest, Paul did play the better game up to the point I stopped watching and I assume he kept it going since he was in the final two with his number one lapdog at his side. When it came to the jury questions and his final speech, it was obvious that Paul wasn't owning his game. That closing speech was a truly special kind of bad. When was he ever a target except for the one time Cody tried to nominate him and he was saved by the temptation? If there is one sure fire way to lose a jury that may already be bitter, it is to not own your game.
Josh actually stepped up in both his answers and in the goodbye messages but Paul did everything he could to deny his involvement, trying to be everyone's "friend" instead. I think he might have won if he had simply taken the bait when he was asked about his game play to say "Yeah, I manipulated and played all of you. My strategy was friendship until you were no longer useful. Every single one of you not named Cody fell for it. Sorry but thats the game."
Hate that Josh won but it is still a lot better than if Paul had won.

As far as Cody winning AFP, it is what it is. In this case it was clearly a message from fans to BB that they don't want returning vets who get spoon fed favorable situations with numerous pliable sheep to manipulate and yet still play an ugly game full of unnecessary bullying. Cody was the closest thing to an anti-Paul in the cast so he got AFP as a final farewell FU to Paul from the fans.

All I can say is that this was a crape season. I hope the next one, not counting Celebrity, features all new house guests and absolutely no returning players. Show us an open playing field.
